RoostTX lives in your menu bar and turns audio into text.
Drop files or a whole folder onto the panel and RoostTX writes the transcripts to the folder you choose. Nothing pops up. The files are the deliverable.
Or record. Tap Record and just start talking. A live meter shows your voice level so you can adjust your tone as you go. When you finish you get the audio and the transcript together. Each transcription gives you clean, readable text plus a timecoded version. Switch on SRT and you get subtitles instead.
Long recordings are split into parts while they run. If something goes wrong mid-session you keep everything up to that point, and the transcript is still assembled as one continuous file.

Settings
• Choose where transcripts are saved
• Open at login
• Open the transcript when it's done
• Reveal the files in Finder when it's done
• SRT subtitles instead of timecoded text
• Timecode interval: 60, 120, 180 or 240 seconds
• Recording split: 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes
• Keep awake while recording
