EE Gateway turns your iPhone into a Bluetooth gateway for open BLE networks. It scans for nearby BLE devices from supported partner networks and forwards their broadcasts to the associated network, extending ground coverage with hardware already in your pocket. HOW IT WORKS • Connect the app with the API token from your encryptedenergy.com gateway page • EE Gateway listens for nearby beacon broadcasts over Bluetooth • Each packet is stamped with signal strength and location, then relayed securely • Watch live status: devices heard, packets relayed, GPS quality, and a full diagnostics log FEATURES • Field Mode for dedicated scanning sessions requiring the most frequent scans • Best-effort background scanning while you move through the day • On-device diagnostics log with one-tap export • Fixed-location override for stationary indoor placements • Location is used only to geotag relayed packets. EE Gateway is the companion to the EE Gateway app for umbrelOS home servers. A free encryptedenergy.com account is required.
