No more watching videos for hours abroad wondering "what should I eat here?". YeGez tells you what to eat in the city you are visiting, and where to eat it, on a single screen.
WHAT TO EAT
The real dishes of each city: not tourist menus, but the local kitchen itself. Every dish comes with a short note on what it actually is, and most carry a practical tip for the moment you order.
WHERE TO EAT
Hand-picked venues for each dish. Not a long list, just a few addresses that work. Every venue shows its current Google rating and review count, opening hours, and one-tap directions.
IN YOUR POCKET
Save a venue with the heart icon; it stays in the Saved tab together with the dish you saved it for. The guide ships with the app, so it opens even at the moment you have no connection.
SCAN THE MENU (with a subscription)
Point the camera at a menu: dishes containing pork or alcohol are marked, and in Milan signature dishes are matched too. The image is processed on your phone and never sent to a server. It works in all 34 cities, in each city's menu language and on a menu's English lines; marks are based on the words on the menu, so confirm with the staff. Phones can't read Greek letters, so in Greece the menu's Latin-script lines are scanned.
OFFLINE PACK (with a subscription)
Download a city's photos and pronunciations in advance and open them abroad with no connection.

Italy (Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan, Naples, Bologna, Verona, Sicily), France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Czechia, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Greece, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo: 19 countries, 34 cities. The list keeps growing; if the city you are looking for is not there, you can request it from inside the app, and the most requested city is added first.
SUBSCRIPTION
The app installs free, and every dish, every venue and route planning in Rome are free. To open other cities, choose all of Europe (monthly or yearly) or a weekly plan for the country you are visiting. Menu scanning and the offline pack are tools a subscription unlocks — in every city, Rome included. The subscription can be cancelled whenever you want.
The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Management and cancellation are done in the App Store account settings on your device.

Menu scanning in 34 cities
Menu scanning is no longer limited to Italian menus: it now works in all 34 cities, in each city's menu language and on a menu's English lines. Dishes containing pork or alcohol are marked; marks are based on the words on the menu, so confirm with the staff. Phones can't read Greek letters, so in Greece the menu's Latin-script lines are scanned.
New subscription plans
All of Europe monthly or yearly; going to a single country? Choose that country's weekly plan.
Venue fixes
Google details that had been matched to the wrong place were corrected for some venues, and permanently closed venues were removed.
Rome stays free. Menu scanning and the offline pack need a subscription.
