A MISTAKE IN THE TEXT? A wrong nikkud, a missing word, a rubric that does not apply: Settings → About → "Report a mistake in the text". The message goes out with the version and the device already filled in — you only have to describe the mistake, and the correction lands in the next update. The text of this siddur has been proofread. But it runs to 2,464 segments, and you are the one who reads it every morning.

THE DEADLINE, WHILE YOU READ The app works out fourteen zmanim and knows which prayer is in front of you. It finally joins the two: the morning Shema shows its latest time in the header, the Amidah its own. It informs and does not rule — once the hour has passed, it tells you what that hour was, and nothing more. WHICH BERAKHAH? 105 foods, the blessing before and the one after, with the text taken from the siddur itself rather than copied out. The table has not yet been reviewed by a competent authority, and the screen says so. THE SIDDUR FOLLOWS THE HOUR Lighting the Menorah rises to the top of the home screen on the afternoon before each of the eight nights of Hanukkah. Reading the Megillah, on the evening Purim begins and again the next morning. Tikkun Rachel and Tikkun Leah between Chatzot HaLayla and dawn — Rachel only on nights when Tachanun is said. Nothing is moved: these texts stay in the catalogue all year. THE BEDTIME PRAYER HAS ITS OWN ENTRY It is said in bed, often hours after the service and without having prayed it. Reaching it meant scrolling past the four prayers of Arvit; it now sits just after them, in its place. MOTZAEI SHABBAT Havdalah and Veyiten Lecha join the catalogue: the end of Shabbat, the first moment of the week when the phone comes back on, and the app was empty exactly there. Birkat HaGomel too, which until now pointed to a text it did not carry. YOUR DATA COMES WITH YOU iCloud backup, optional and off by default: your refuah list, your verse, your personal request, your bookmarks and your reading preferences come back after changing devices. On your own iCloud account, never on a server. Turned off and erased in one gesture. READING AND FINDING On a large screen, the translation moves alongside the Hebrew instead of being stacked underneath. Swiping the header changes prayer. Search folds away behind a magnifier and gives its space back to the day's card. And Selichot can be reached all year from "Other prayers", while their siddur entry stays seasonal. FIXED Chatzot HaLayla was wrong between midnight and its own hour: at 1 a.m. the app announced the following night's, while the one for the Tikkun was fifty minutes away. HaMotzi existed nowhere — the most frequently said blessing was the only one missing. The setup carousel did not offer the city list. Name fields opened pure black in dark mode, and the Hebrew first-name field opened a Latin keyboard. Three labels stayed in French when the app was set to English.

SELICHOT, IN FULL The Edot HaMizrah rite joins the siddur: 31 prayers, from 2 Elul to the eve of Yom Kippur, at the head of the list and never on Shabbat. Pointed Hebrew, transliteration, French and English. FOUR MORE ZMANIM Latest Tefila according to the Magen Avraham and the GRA, Plag HaMincha, and Chatzot HaLayla — solar midnight, the hour of the Tikkun, which the app left unsaid although it carries Tikkun Rachel and Tikkun Leah. MORE COMFORTABLE READING The text responds to pinch. The controls move within thumb's reach, and the rest of the screen fades away at a touch. A night light for the ashmoret and dawn services. And resuming now takes you down to the berakhah instead of back to the top of a thirty-passage prayer. FINDING THINGS FASTER "Other prayers" goes from twenty-eight flat lines to six named groups. Birkat HaMazon, the bedtime Shema and Tefilat HaDerech open in one gesture — through Siri, a shortcut, or Control Center: these are said at the table, in bed, in the car. GETTING STARTED First launch says what the app does and asks for your location before anything else. The French translation is on from the start, and a page in Settings lists everything the app can do. THE TEXT, UP CLOSE Birkat Kohanim is laid out as three distinct, named passages, depending on whether the Kohanim go up to the duchan or the leader says the blessing in their place. Tikkun Rachel only appears on the nights it is said. And in Birkat HaMazon, the abbreviated Hebrew directions are finally spelled out: "with ten or more", "in an undertone". FIXED Touch did not respond on the Hebrew text. The Birkat HaLevana reminder did not open the text. The calendar mixed French and English, on screen and read aloud. And the date on the times screen did not follow the chosen language.
