Decove is a small, private social app for the people you actually know.
Your posts, photos, voice notes, comments, and messages are end-to-end encrypted on your device. Our server stores and routes ciphertext it cannot read — that's a property of how Decove is built, not a promise we're asking you to take on faith.
FRIENDS, NOT FOLLOWERS
Every connection is mutual: you both have to agree. There are no followers, no follower counts, no public profiles, and nothing to discover. Strangers cannot see you, and there is no audience to perform for.
A FEED THAT ENDS
Chronological, never ranked. Unread posts first, then a marker that tells you you're caught up — and that's the end of it. No infinite scroll, no recommendations, no algorithm deciding what you should have seen. Older posts are still there if you want them; you just have to ask.
PRIVATE CIRCLES
Send a post to "Family" or "Climbing crew" instead of everyone. Nobody else sees a circle — not its name, not who's in it — and the name never leaves your device.

These are encrypted on your device — unreadable to us, or to any government, hacker, or third party.

Just enough to deliver your posts and show who's asking to be friends — we won't pretend otherwise.
NO ADS. NO TRACKING.
No advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, no behavioural profiling, no data sold or shared. We never sell your data. There's no profile of you, so there's nothing to sell.
SIGNING IN AND KEEPING YOUR ACCOUNT
You sign in with your phone number — no password to remember. Your encryption keys are stored only on your devices, which is what makes the guarantees above possible, and also means we cannot recover your account for you. Save the recovery code Cove offers you (your password manager will do), and you can get back in from any phone or add a second device by scanning a code.
Cove is independent and ad-free, built for people who want to keep up with friends without being measured while they do it.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• Polls: ask your friends a question, with one answer or several. Votes can be anonymous.
• Decove in your browser: open web.decove.app and scan its code with your phone, from Settings → Linked devices.
• Reply privately: hold a friend’s reply under a post to answer it in your messages.
• Hold a message to copy it. Emoji show in colour, voice notes are more reliable, and lots of small fixes.
