Island is a different kind of screen time app. Most screen time apps are a variation on the same theme: a wall that shows up when you open an app that either makes you wait or locks you out. Island aims to help you build self-discipline within yourself. It’ll never block your apps or nanny you. Instead, you are given charge of your own island that you take care of by sticking to your limits and staying off the apps you don’t enjoy spending time on.
Add friends, visit each other’s islands and keep each other accountable. As you stay on track, you build a credit score which increases the production level of your farm and makes unlocking new crops, animals and content faster. But beware, going over your limit causes storms that can wreak havoc on your island.
