A space for the reading mind. you finish a book and for about a week you can't stop thinking about it, and then a month goes by and all that's really left is the cover. readay's where you write it down. not a rating, not a page count, just what you actually took from it, the thought you had halfway through, the line you'd have underlined, the character you weren't ready to leave behind. because a book isn't four stars out of five. it's whatever it left you with, and that's the part worth keeping. so it's a journal. some nights you'll write a whole paragraph, most nights you'll pick two words and go to sleep, and both of those count as an entry. the days you read are there in your own words and the days you didn't just aren't, so there's nothing to catch up on. keep a streak going if that helps you, ignore it if it doesn't. there's fifty words in here for how something left you, the honest ones included. tender, gripping, slow, dense, boring. books and articles both, on a shelf that fills up slowly, and a card at the end of the week you can show someone if you feel like it. it's yours and nobody else's. no account, no feed, no followers, nobody else reading your journal. everything stays on your phone and the photos you keep never leave it. readay pro free to keep a journal. pro adds sync across your devices, recap cards, photo stamps, characters and passages on every read. readay is a reading journal now. this is a full rebuild. the old screen-time tools are gone, and in their place is a journal for the reading you already do. log a day in seconds, keep the quotes and the characters on every read, and watch the year fill in. new in this version - a journal, with a daily page and a month calendar - fifty words for how a book actually left you, the honest ones included - characters worth remembering, with passages of their own - a closing ceremony for every book you finish - three figures for the year: days, hours, volumes - today's entry as a home-screen widget - week and month recap cards to share - icloud sync, and a csv export of the whole archive the app blocking feature has been removed. if you used the old readay, your library starts fresh.
