Blocking is honest about itself. With no apps picked yet, Niyyah now says there is nothing to block and helps you connect them — instead of reporting a lock that didn't exist.

Better accuracy up north • City search. If location is unavailable or your city wasn't in the list, look it up by name — any city on the map. • The calculation method and Asr madhab now follow your country automatically. The madhab switch is still there, with a note on what's customary in your region. • Fixed Fajr and Isha above 48° latitude: in Canada, the UK and Northern Europe, Fajr showed 15–20 minutes late and Isha early. Times now match local timetables. • The date on the Today screen and the month in Stats now follow the app language.

A break from prayer The main addition in this update is Break mode. If prayer is temporarily lifted from you, turn on a break for as many days as you need: prayer-time blocking won't trigger, your streak won't break, and the Fajr alarm switches off and comes back on its own. The evening block and your Quran goal keep running. You can extend the break or end it early at any time. Thank you to the sister whose review started this.
