Fôlego now runs on older devices too: iPhone with iOS 17 or later and Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later — Series 4 and newer, any SE and any Ultra. It previously required iOS and watchOS 26.5. If you already use Fôlego, nothing changes: the app stays the same.

This release fixes the main thing: Fôlego now keeps up with Health without you opening anything. • The complication updates on its own. After an outdoor run or walk, the new value reaches your watch face by itself — it previously waited for you to open the app. • Deleting or editing a reading in Health now shows up here. A deleted value clears from Summary and the complication, and a corrected one replaces the old number. • Profiles with "other" as biological sex get an honest explanation. Instead of asking you to "complete age and sex" — impossible if you already filled everything in — the screen explains that the app's reference table only publishes thresholds for male and female. • The comparison in Summary states the real interval between your two readings instead of always claiming "over 30 days". Changes too small to show in the number now read as "Stable". • Accessibility fixes in VoiceOver, and a screen that was cut off on 44mm watches.

Fixed: on the complication, the color under the pointer didn't match your band. The ring split the six colors into equal parts and moved the pointer without accounting for your age and sex thresholds, so it could land on the green of "High" while the app showed "Low" right beside it — two bands apart. The ring is now drawn from your own thresholds, in every complication family, including the corner one. The pointer is thinner now, too. At its previous size it covered much of the colored stretch it exists to point at; its position within the band now shows how far into that band you are. Fixed: in the History chart, the top band ("Elite") could go undrawn when your threshold sits above the top of the scale — the case for men aged 20 to 29. After updating, the complication ring may look unlit until you open the app once: that's when it receives your band thresholds. Fixed: in History, the highlighted reading on opening the screen could be an older one instead of the most recent. It happened when the history sent from your iPhone arrived just after the screen appeared — the value at the top and the marked point on the chart stayed on an earlier reading until you turned the Digital Crown. Fixed: Summary showed "No data" when your most recent reading was between 2 and 12 months old, even while telling you on that same screen that it had looked at the last 12 months. It now queries the period it announces — the same one the complication always used. Fixed: a momentary failure reading from Health no longer wipes a screen that was already showing your VO2 Max. Summary could swap the number for "No data", and the History chart could go blank for a moment. VoiceOver now says "VO2 Max" before the value in Summary, History, the status screens and the complication. It previously announced only the number and the band, without naming the measure — confusing on watch faces carrying several complications. The app also talks to Health less on every screen refresh.

The complication now keeps up with the app. It could get stuck showing "–" while the app displayed your VO2 Max just fine — the watch deletes older Health samples to save space, and the complication only saw what was left. It now uses the same reading the app uses, and refreshes itself whenever a new one arrives. Rebuilt setup on iPhone: instead of ending on a dead-end screen, it shows what you'll find on your wrist and takes you straight to the Watch app to add the complication to your watch face. Fixed: people under 20 or over 80 were told to "complete your age and sex in Health" even with a complete profile. The screen now gives the real reason — the fitness reference table covers ages 20 to 79. Fixed: Summary and History no longer sit on "No data" while the history sent from your iPhone is still arriving; the screen updates as soon as it lands. The app also opens faster on iPhones with a large Health history.

Redesigned History chart: fitness bands now show as a color ruler along the chart's edge, with a marker at your current reading — easier to read than the previous colored background. New: scrub through History with the Digital Crown, one reading at a time, with haptic feedback. Fixed: the gauge pointer now always lands in the correct segment for your fitness band. Visual polish to complications and the setup flow.
