Kangaroo Court cases now appear on your home screen, so you can see straight away when the squad needs your vote instead of finding it buried in the feed.

Forfeits. Name something the loser has to do, let the fines pile up, and whoever is top when you finish it does it. Your admin starts it and finishes it, and there is no deadline to chase. Also: cash payment details now show their icon.

A clearer explanation of the overdue switch under Manage club, so it says what happens when it is on as well as when it is off.

Issued a fine by mistake? Admins can now cancel it. The fine is taken back, counts for nothing, and the player is told. A new Unpaid tab on the fine table shows who still owes, biggest first. Share it as a one page list for the group chat. And if your club's rules say a fine doubles when it is not paid, the app can now do that for you. It is off unless you switch it on, under Manage club.

Issuing a fine is a lot quicker. Your rulebook now opens with the rule you used last and the ones you use most, instead of the dearest ones you never touch. Hold any rule to pin it to the top and it stays there. The Issue button no longer hides at the bottom of a long rulebook. It sits at the foot of the screen with who you picked, what for and the total, and the note is a tap away next to it.

More than one way to pay. Your club can now list as many as it likes: a PayPal or Monzo link, bank details to copy, or simply cash at training. Links are buttons, everything else is written out, so nothing pretends to be tappable when it is not. Tell us what is wrong, from inside the app. There is a Leave feedback option in the menu now. It comes straight to Dan, who built Fine Club, and it brings your version and your club with it so nobody has to ask. The rulebook and the feed have proper headers, and the fine page is tidier: settling up in one place, the wheel, duels and the court in another.

Your notifications now tell you what they are. The bell has always had a number on it; that number could mean anything. Now a little bubble hangs underneath it with the count split by kind, so you can see at a glance that it is three people waiting to join and one payment to confirm, and decide whether it can wait. Tap the bubble to go straight to the list. We also fixed a notification that turned up completely blank. If somebody took you to the kangaroo court, the message telling you so had no words in it.

Your rulebook, on the wall. Download the whole thing as a poster: every rule and every price on one sheet, ready for the changing room or the group chat. Nobody left waiting around. When someone joins with your club code, admins now see it straight away on the home screen instead of hoping they spotted the notification. New clubs get a much better rulebook to start from, built out of a real grassroots club's fines list. Foul throws, sin bins, getting nutmegged, and a team fine if you lose. Plus a tidy up here and there.

Bring an item, your way. No letter needed any more. Set the squad a free for all, or give them a theme of your own: something from the fridge, something from your school bag, whatever you fancy. Every goal now has its own summary. The pot, who has been fined the most, the offence your club cannot stop committing, and the appeal that got away with it. Share it with the group chat. When the money is spent and the season is done, an admin can close a goal off so the totals are final. And it is now a lot easier to find where you confirm a payment when someone says they have paid.
