Turn falling pieces into real words before the board fills. Word Drop combines quick puzzle decisions with spelling, scoring and vocabulary discovery in a grid-based word game.
BUILD WORDS UNDER PRESSURE
Place falling letters and pairs to form valid English words from 3 to 8 letters. Cleared words create room for the next pieces, while cascades open additional scoring opportunities. Bomb pieces add another element to manage as levels progress.

CHOOSE YOUR MODE
Select the board that suits your approach. Classic uses a 7×12 grid, while Advanced expands play to an 8×13 grid. Each mode keeps its own personal best, giving you two different score targets to pursue.
GROW YOUR PERSONAL WORD LIST
My Words gathers unique words from your game history in one place. See how often you have played each word, review its letter score and difficulty colour, then tap to fetch an English definition. If an inline definition is unavailable, you can choose to check the meaning online in an in-app browser.
COMPARE YOUR RESULTS
Use the leaderboards to see how your performance compares with other signed-in players across four measures:
• Highest score
• Total score
• Longest word
• Longest game duration
Create an optional public username for leaderboard play, or use the automatically generated player tag. Your email address is not displayed on the leaderboard.
USE POWER-UPS TACTICALLY
Six optional power-ups can help when the board becomes difficult. Spend virtual coins to activate Freeze, Hint, Swap, Pick Next Letter, Bomb Boost or Clear Floor during a live game.
A one-time registration bonus helps new players get started, and the daily spin can award 1–10 virtual coins once per UTC day. Optional consumable coin packs are also available through in-app purchase. Prices are shown by the App Store.
MAKE IT YOURS
Choose a light, dark or system appearance, control game sounds and select from ten interface languages. The portrait interface also supports iPad.
ACCOUNT AND CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS
An email-and-password account is required to access the game. Internet access is required for registration and login, leaderboards, cloud syncing, online definitions, daily spins, coin-powered features and in-app purchases. Account deletion is available from the profile.
