One unreached language group to pray for each day — from the makers of the Gospel Ambition prayer guide.
Millions of people still cannot hear the gospel in the language of their heart. Codex is a daily prayer guide for them — an index of the unreached language groups of the world.
Each day, the app gives you one language group to pray for: who they are, where they live, what they believe, and how to pray for them. Profiles verified by Missionary's team carry the stories, photographs, and prayer points.
ONE GROUP A DAY
A gentle daily rhythm — everyone praying with the app lifts up the same group on the same day. Enable a daily reminder at the time that works for you, and build a streak as you pray.
HUNDREDS OF LANGUAGE GROUPS
Beyond the verified profiles, explore hundreds of unreached language groups drawn from public missions data — groups with no gospel, no disciples, and no church in their own language. Search by language or country, filter to frontier groups, or browse by Bible translation status.
SEE THE TASK ON A MAP
A world map plots every group in the guide — from the Caucasus to the Sahel to the islands of Southeast Asia. Every dot is a people waiting to hear.
WHY LANGUAGE?
Churches often think in terms of geography or people groups — but the Bible calls us to reach every tongue. The app explains why we count the unreached by language: language marks exactly where a person can, and cannot, hear and read the gospel.
FROM YOUR CHURCH TO EVERY LANGUAGE
Codex is built by Missionary — helping local churches send missionaries to peoples who have never heard of Christ. Praying through this guide is the first step.
"I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named." — Romans 15:20
