• The app now opens in your device's language. It used to open in Turkish for everyone, so Arabic, English, French, Indonesian and Urdu users had to hunt for the language setting. • On a slow connection or with no connection the screen no longer spins forever: you get an "No internet connection" message and a "Try again" button. • On Android the back button no longer closes the app; it closes the open panel instead. • You can now pinch to enlarge the text. • Pressing Enter in the search box starts the search and closes the keyboard. • In Arabic and Urdu the close button is now on the correct side. • The prayer time countdown no longer drains battery in the background.

The purchase screen is now reliable even on a weak connection: prices load as soon as you are back online, with a one-tap retry when needed. Small improvements and bug fixes.

You can now enable location and adhan notifications when you first open Prayer. Permissions are requested only after you choose to continue.

Two fixes on the prayer side. Your location is now remembered, so you no longer have to grant it again every time you open the app. After isha, "next prayer" used to be blank; it now counts down to tomorrow's fajr — which is exactly what someone checking at night wants. Seven reciters. Online listening with Mishary Alafasy is free for everyone; the other six reciters, and downloading a recitation to listen offline, come with Mihenk Plus. The yearly plan now starts with 3 days free. Reading the Quran, listening to Alafasy, prayer times, qibla and adhan notifications stay free. Adhan notifications are here. When a prayer time comes in, your phone calls it with the adhan; you can turn this on or off in settings. Prayer times are now calculated on the device, so they stay correct without a connection. Download a recitation and listen offline. In Read & Listen, download your chosen reciter once, then listen with no connection at all. Recitation plays in the background. It keeps going when the screen is off, and you can pause or skip from the lock screen; wherever you go in the app, the player at the bottom stays with you. The chain of narration on hadith cards has been shortened, so the saying itself now appears at the top of the card. When a narration has no translation in your language in the source, we say so plainly. Also: reciter names now read correctly in every language, the interface is simpler, and various bugs are fixed.

New: Read and listen to the Quran — 114 surahs with Arabic text, transliteration and translation. Listen to renowned reciters (Alafasy, Abdul Basit, Sudais, Shuraim, Muaiqly, Husary, Hudhaify). The text works offline and the app remembers where you left off. Hadith verification has also been improved in Arabic, French and Urdu.
