Arooz tells you the meter of your Urdu poetry — instantly, entirely on your device.
Type or paste a ghazal and Arooz scans it line by line: it names the bahr, shows the feet (arkaan), writes out the taqti of every word, and flags exactly which word breaks the meter. What took a session with an ustaad now happens as you type.
THE SCANNER
• Names the bahr of your poem — with the classical name (بحر ہزج مثمن سالم) and its arkaan
• Per-line verdict: in meter or out, with the breaking words highlighted
• Taqti (تقطیع) of every word in 1/2 weight digits, plus a suggested correction pattern (اصلاح) for off-meter lines
• Fluency (روانی) score for every line
