Famloop: Family Locator
GPS Tracker & Safety Alerts
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Overdue alerts now reach your Loop even when the app is closed, and pausing sharing truly stops uploads. Now in Spanish and German.
Know where your loved ones are, how fresh that information is, and whether they arrived when they said they would. Famloop is an honest family locator and GPS location sharing app built on consent, clarity and one promise: we never show an old location as if it's live.
Create a private Loop, invite your family with a simple code, and see everyone on one shared map — parents, kids, partners and grandparents. Every member's location carries a clear Signal state, so you know if it is live, minutes old, or waiting for an update.
WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE FAMLOOP
• Honest by design — every location shows its real age. If a phone is offline or sharing is paused, Famloop tells you plainly instead of pretending.
• Built on consent — everyone installs the app, joins your private Loop and turns on sharing themselves. No secret tracking, ever.
SAFE ARRIVAL TIMER
Heading home late? Set a Safe Arrival Timer: choose your destination and arrival time, then check in with one tap when you get there. If you don't, Famloop alerts your chosen family members with your last known location. Peace of mind for night commutes, first drives and solo travel.
FAMILY MAP & SIGNAL METER
• See every consenting member of your Loop on one live map
• Signal meter shows when each location was last updated
• Battery level, distance and ETA for every member
• Tap a member for directions, live tracking, messages and history
PLACE ALERTS
• Save Home, School, Work and custom places
• Get notified when family members arrive or leave
• Schedule alerts for the times that matter, like school days
• Smart filtering prevents repeat false alerts
LIVE TRACKING & ETA
Follow a family member's trip in real time with route progress and arrival estimates. The tracked person sees when it's on and can stop it.
LOCATION HISTORY
Review recent routes and places day by day. Famloop marks gaps where no reliable location existed — we never draw a fake route. Export any day as a PDF.
SOS & CHECK-IN
• Hold-to-activate SOS instantly alerts your Loop with your location and battery level
• One-tap "I'm Safe" check-ins
• A safety feed keeps the whole family in the loop
DRIVING & SPEED ALERTS
Get a heads-up when a new driver exceeds the speed threshold you set — noisy GPS blips filtered out.
FAMILY CHAT
A private chat for each Loop, with check-ins and safety events built in. No public profiles, no strangers.
YOUR PRIVACY, ALWAYS
• Sharing is always visible and can be paused any time
• Invitation codes expire and can be revoked
• Your location is only visible to Loops you join
• Delete your history or your entire account in-app
• No ads, ever
FREE & PREMIUM
Famloop is free for one Loop of up to 3 members, with 2 saved places, one Safe Arrival Timer, place alerts, SOS, check-ins and 2 days of history. Premium raises every limit — 5 Loops of 10 members, 50 places, 20 timers, 365 days of history — and adds repeating timers, driving alerts, trip summaries and PDF export. One purchase covers your whole Loop.
Choose the yearly plan with a 7-day free trial, or buy Premium once with a Lifetime purchase.
Famloop requires each family member to install the app, join your Loop and grant location permission. It cannot track a phone by number and does not contact emergency services. Background updates depend on device settings and connectivity.
Bring your family into the loop — download Famloop today.

Alerts you can count on
• Overdue alerts now reach the people you picked, even when your app is closed.
• A gentle reminder before your deadline, so a missed check-in is rarer.
• If a check-in or an SOS doesn't send, Famloop tells you plainly instead of showing a tick. Your Loop is never told something happened when it didn't.
Honest location
• Pausing sharing now stops location uploads entirely, not just the map pin.
• A location that hasn't changed in hours is no longer shown as Live.
• "Delete my history" now clears your saved history across every Loop.
Also in this release
• Watch Live or Message someone straight from their timer.
• Switching between Loops no longer mixes up conversations or timers.
• Clearer history: days with only a route now show it, arrival times are accurate, and older dates are easy to tell apart.
• Famloop is now available in Spanish (Mexico) and German.
