Gear refining, star upgrades, Forge Transcend and profile pictures are here - Profile pictures: tap your portrait at the top-left, then the picture on your card, and pick from 21; it shows in chat, rankings, duels and the Bug King Trials - Refine gear options: reroll one line with fossils or jelly, then keep the old or the new value. You can pick the option type, and each refine raises the minimum roll - Star upgrade: collect same-slot gear as material, and after an upgrade timer the star rises and option effects grow (up to 5 stars; jelly can skip the timer) - Forge Transcend: at the max forge grade, restart the forge from the beginning to raise every option's maximum - HP, defense and regen upgrades now clearly reduce hunting damage. Zone monster values have changed - Duel combat power now reflects real win chances - Mission goals no longer grow too large, and you can swap a mission with jelly. Mission rewards now match your current hunting zone - Wild shards can now unlock skills - Pupa Guard lasts longer with each level - Training points now follow the same rules for every bug - Fixed live chat updates, gear selling and other issues

Big changes to training and duels - Surprise gifts now give 1 to 3 hours of hunting at your current zone, and daily rewards give 3 hours at lunch and 5 hours at dinner. You can claim each daily reward once more - Exchange: 10 jelly now gives 5 hours of hunting worth of gold or materials - The early Easy zones go faster - Training overhaul: bugs earn training points as they grow. Spend them on Attack, Defense, HP, Push, Evasion, Crit, Recovery, Weight, Technique or Grit. There is a recommended allocation button too. Old part upgrades and training carry over as points, so no bug gets weaker - Duel stones: change a bug's element or temperament to the one you want - In duels, mash the screen right before a ring-out, flip or knockout to hold on or get back up (tap counter). More Grit makes each tap stronger - Big bugs no longer win duels so one-sidedly. Size now works only as weight - When the boss gauge fills, the boss challenge starts automatically (you can turn this off in Settings) - Movement speed in upgrades is now Evasion, and gear can roll an Evasion option - Higher max levels for Attack, HP, Defense and other upgrades - Expand the fairy box with jelly (up to 60 slots) - New Fairy Starter, Skill Starter, Growth Pass and Weekly Bundle in the shop, and better Starter Pack and skin perks - Various screen, text and bug fixes

Zones and the exchange have changed - If a regular monster defeats you in the highest zone you can reach, you fall back one zone. You arrive with the boss challenge open, so beating that boss takes you right back - In the Abyss you fall back one floor, and the Abyss ranking and progress ranking now use your current floor - Exchange: 10 jelly now gives the gold or materials of one hour of hunting at your current power (much more than before) - Buttons that spend jelly now ask for confirmation first (expansions, instant finish, rerolls, contest ticket refills and more) - Fixed training being canceled when you left the game right after starting it - Tap anywhere on the stacked gear in the workshop to open the newest item - Various text and bug fixes

Better idle rewards and fairies - Earn bug eggs and materials even while the game is closed. With the grade filter on, lower grades turn into materials - The welcome-back window now shows the materials and eggs you received - Fairy reroll: reroll a fairy's stats, then choose to keep the current or the new values (5 per day) - Fairy merge update: Epic to Legendary now takes 4 fairies. Fairy egg draw odds were adjusted (see the odds in game) - One account plays on one device at a time, so progress is no longer overwritten by a second device - Equipped gear now counts toward the power shown on the home screen - Long-press a chat bubble to select and copy its text - Duel ticket refills are closed while the season is being settled - Improved auto merge and various fixes

Fairies have arrived - 8 new fairies fly beside your character, help you hunt and each use their own skill - Get fairy eggs from first-time boss kills and elite monsters, and merge 3 of the same fairy to raise its grade - New Guide in Settings: elements, specialties, temperaments and training in one place - Bug lock: locked bugs are never used for fusion or disassembly - More duel opponents to choose from, and duel rankings now show defense team power - Duel ticket refills with Jelly are limited to 3 per day - Shop: see egg draw odds from the question mark next to the title - Clearer text and button colors, plus various fixes

The Bug Battle Stadium is open - Duels are all new: fight 1:1 in a round arena and win by ring-out, flip or knockout. The winner stays on with its remaining HP - Time the throw gauge well to gain an edge. Critical hits, weak-spot hits and evasion have been added - Training Grounds: train attack, defense, evasion, critical and recovery for each bug. Max levels depend on potential, temperament and specialty - Compete in your league every week; the top 20% move up. Seasons run Monday 09:00 to Sunday 09:00 (KST) - The Abyss opens beyond the final Extreme boss: endless floors that restart from F1 every week, with rewards for the deepest floor - Tournament round 2: send your best bug through wave after wave, picking one card after each wave - Jelly rewards have been reorganized (weekly duel and Abyss rankings, first gift x2 of the day, and more)

Character skills are here - 12 character skills: unlock and train them with shards from bosses and elites - Skill draws (odds shown), boss sweep tickets, and shard upgrades (10 of a grade become 1 wildcard of the next grade) - You can flee from boss fights (the hunting gauge empties, the same as being defeated) - Being defeated by a boss empties that hunting ground's gauge (100 kills) - Gift rewards are now a random x2 to x4 - Gear caught by the forge filter is sold for materials instead of discarded - Shiny bugs and raised bugs (trained, broken through, enhanced) are never used as fusion material, and fusing or disassembling now asks first - Focus upgrade, material drops, bug part upgrade and crafting costs have been rebalanced - Tap a long mail to read it in full, and support replies arrive by mail

New hunting grounds and bosses - Each difficulty now has 10 hunting grounds and a final boss. Defeat enough monsters in a ground to challenge its boss - Existing progress restarts at hunting ground 1 of your current difficulty. Upgrades, gear, bugs and currency are kept - Move freely between any difficulty you have reached from the roadmap. If it feels too hard, step down a level - All bosses have new artwork, and you can collect 44 bosses in the Dex - Earn jelly and fossils as you collect more bosses - Bosses are tougher and attack at a faster pace - Conquering a hunting ground for the first time grants 30 minutes of its gold - The forge now goes up to grade 20 - Bugs now attack right after your character - Tournament winners and participants receive badges shown in chat and on the leaderboard - Between tournaments you can see the Hall of Fame and the next schedule - Leaderboard progress now shows difficulty, hunting ground and power - League trophies reset every Monday at 9 AM KST - Critical chance is shown with one decimal place

Duel tickets Each duel now costs one ticket. You get one back every 30 minutes, up to 10. You can also top up with an ad or with jelly.
