Try it before you set anything up: tap "Explore example data" on the home screen for a fictional rifle, load and two finished tests — a charge/OCW test with impact charts, and a seating depth test. Everything is marked as invented, and one tap removes it all. Seating-depth tests keep their target photos Every rung measured from a photograph now keeps that photograph — with or without an aim point — and it travels with your backups. Retyping a depth no longer carries another target's marks along with it. Ladders and OCW are more honest • A rung your chronograph missed keeps its target and still counts as evidence. • "POI stable" now means the whole window held, not just each step from the last. • A straight-line ladder says "Flattest", not "Node" — a node has to stand out from the trend. • Charge estimates never round up past the heaviest charge you fired. Importing and pasting velocities • CSV files with grouped numbers ("2,800.5"), quoted notes, or both fps and m/s columns import correctly. Damaged cells such as "28O0" are rejected instead of becoming 280 fps. • Pasting decimal velocities separated by commas no longer loses the string. Fixes • Saving a seating test in metric no longer loses its marks and photos. • Editing a session keeps the name of a rifle or load you have since deleted. • A load's cost is no longer overwritten by a partial figure after a component leaves the inventory. • Break-even rounds up: 270.3 rounds is 271, not 270. • Weather asks where you are now, not where you were this morning. • An interrupted upgrade or restore can no longer leave the logbook half-done. • PDF reports label their units. Languages • 218 corrections across German, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Finnish, Czech and Polish — reloading terminology, safety-critical units (French now says "grains"), and consistent register. • French no longer shows "1" for a count of zero.

Seating depth tests are saved now. The seating tool used to forget everything the moment you closed it — you typed depths and groups, read the sweet spot, and that was that. Now it keeps the whole test. • Save a test and reopen it from your log whenever you like, with every depth, group, impact mark and target photo exactly where you left it. • Choose the load from your inventory instead of typing the powder and bullet by hand. The test links to the recipe you actually shot, so it knows the components, the cartridge and the cost. • Measure each depth's group straight from a photo of its target, and tap back to that photo later to check your marks against it. Also fixed: the app was reporting the wrong build number on the Data screen.

Light theme — for a phone at arm's length in the sun. Dark stays the default; pick either, or follow your phone. Two new readings from data you already log: • On a charge ladder: type a target velocity, get the charge, with the range your own shots can support. It never names a charge you haven't fired. • On any load: how much velocity it gains per degree, and how far your zero moves across a season. Range cards from FieldSolve now land back on the recipe they came from.

FIELDSOLVE ROUND TRIP Send a load to FieldSolve, and get the result back. FieldSolve measures what Handload cannot compute — a muzzle velocity trued against real DOPE, an effective BC, a group at a known distance — and that measurement now comes home and files itself against the recipe it belongs to. Nothing is saved until you confirm it, and a result that names a load you don't have says so instead of landing on the wrong one. Handload also sends your measured velocity SD out with the load, so the solve starts from what your rifle actually did rather than an assumed spread. A bullet with no weight is refused rather than sent, because it would come back as a confident wrong answer. CAMERAS POINT THE RIGHT WAY Range video opens on the front camera — the phone faces you at the bench. The target photo opens on the rear, where the target is. Flip either one and it stays flipped next time. NOTHING IS THROWN AWAY QUIETLY Leaving the clip review without exporting used to delete the recording without asking. It asks now — and only when there is actually something to lose. Requires iOS 15 or later.
