Group your ingredients Split your ingredient list into sections like “For the sauce” or “For the marinade”. Each group gets its own card on the recipe, and the headings stay off your shopping list. Imported recipes keep their groups too, from cookbook photos and from recipe sites. A new toolbar above the keyboard Editing a recipe is a little easier, with undo, redo and clear within reach. Move ingredients up or down, add a group heading or add a photo without leaving the keyboard. Edited recipes now give a little bounce in the Recipes grid so you can spot what you’ve just changed. Your week is also easier to read in landscape, with the date heading fading as you scroll. We’ve fixed the + on Add New Recipe in dark mode and tidied up the Recently Deleted heading. Deleted a recipe by mistake? You’ve now got 30 days to bring it back from Recently Deleted, complete with its photo and ingredients. Find it in the Recipes menu. Restoring can fill the gaps in your upcoming plans too, without replacing dinners you’ve chosen since. Before you delete a recipe, TeaTonight also tells you how many upcoming dinners would be left empty. There are smaller fixes for writing recipes by hand, editing notes and scaling ingredient amounts—including keeping tin sizes unchanged when you need more tins. Thanks for cooking.

A daily reminder, if you want one. Once you've planned a week, one message in the afternoon — tonight's meal, and a chance to check you've got everything in. That's all it ever sends. The shopping list now names what you're buying, not the packaging it comes in. Scaling a recipe carries the numbers in brackets along with it. Cream instead of white in dark mode, and a handful of smaller things besides.

Add a meal to next week without opening the week You're looking at a recipe and think, we should have that. Press and hold it — or tap ⋯ on the recipe itself — and choose Add to Next Week. It goes on the first free night and tells you which one. Tap the message to go straight there, and the same menu takes it back off again. Notes on a recipe Keep a note with any recipe — where it came from, the tweak that worked, whose birthday it was for. You'll find Add Notes at the bottom of a recipe. Imported recipes now remember where they came from. Snap a page from a cookbook and it notes the page; paste a link and it keeps the writer and the site.
