The rut, where you hunt. - The rut card now follows your pin. Move a pin to another state, or another part of a state, and you get that area's rut - not one date for everyone. - Five stages: Pre-rut, Chasing, Peak, Post-rut and Second rut. - Your HUNT IQ % now follows your area's rut. Peak rut days score higher, and midday counts for more during the peak. - ALL-DAY SIT shows only on peak rut days with great conditions.

The IQ formula, now at the top of the App Guide. DATA tells us what is. MATH tells us how it fits together. PHYSICS tells us why it happens. IQ tells you what to do with it - and when. In TerrainIQ: the terrain feature is where an advantage can occur. Elevation, aspect, slope, sun and time say when. Wind says whether it survives or gets overridden.

Fixes and a cleaner fit on every phone. - Crew invites now open the app. Tap the link a friend sends you and TerrainIQ opens straight to JOIN CREW with the code already filled in. - Buttons no longer crowd each other on smaller screens: the 2D/3D switch stays clear of the ADD MARKER close button and the coordinates box, pin details stay below the top bar, and the side buttons stay clear of the compass when Thermals is open. - Waypoints and MY TRUCK open the same full page as your other markers - directions, notes, photos and terrain in one place. - In 3D the readout line is no longer hidden behind the off-road buttons. - New app icon.

A big round of fixes. - Daylight saving: sunrise, sunset and hour-by-hour times stay right through the time change, even with no signal. - HUNT IQ now shows what the thermals are doing: rising, falling or transitioning. - Subscribers keep full access when they're out of service. - RECORD RIDE saves as you go, so a ride isn't lost if the app closes. - ADD WAYPOINT saves at your real spot, or tells you it used the crosshair. - MY STANDS and PICK MY STAND agree, and each stand's deer % uses that stand's own weather. - Moving a stand re-reads the ground at the new spot. - Off-road: trails load faster, downloaded trails show with no signal, legend choices stick, deleting a saved map frees all of its storage, and waypoints show up in CarPlay. - Crew: SOS stays on after a restart, and a member who stops reporting shows when they were last seen. - The TOOLS menu no longer hides behind other buttons, and a few other screens no longer overlap.

MY STANDS: after the evening hunt is over, it opens on tomorrow - Morning, Mid-morning, Midday, Afternoon, Evening - with the best 3 stands for each. The map legend's CLOSE button is no longer covered by the 2D/3D switch.

3D: steadier and lighter. Thermals now live on the 2D map, where you read them - the 3D view no longer runs the thermal animation, and its THERMALS button is gone. Your pins, stands, crew and everything else still carry into 3D. Thermals on the 2D map work exactly as before. If thermals are open when you go to 3D, they are right there when you come back.

MY STANDS, rebuilt: pick a day (today or up to 6 days out), then pick a time - morning, mid-morning, midday, afternoon or evening. TerrainIQ ranks every stand for that time on its wind, thermals and where it sits on its ridge, and shows up to 3 good stands, each with a short reason - where it sits on its ridge, and whether to keep your target below you, above you or at your level. If none work, it says so. STAND IQ HUNT LOG: every hunt you log, with times and notes. Edit any hunt, add old ones, and see how many times you've hunted each stand and how long it has rested. 3D: much steadier. When the iPhone takes away 3D's graphics, 3D rebuilds itself with your pins instead of dropping you to the flat map, frees its memory every time you close it, and fills back in map photos lost during a signal drop. HUNT CREW: your spot stays live with the phone locked while you sit in a stand. Leaving a crew removes you for everyone, and no signal no longer erases your crew. THERMALS: the Thermals cards now match the live thermal reading - first light can still be draining, midday is the strongest rising air, and evening falls. CarPlay: arriving ends the trip, saved spots go where you tapped, and your music comes back up after each spoken direction. Plus: the app no longer freezes when location is slow to start, and Stand IQ holds up to 20 stands.

The reasons under the score show what is helping and hurting, in plain words. - Import Waypoints: bring your pins over from onX, Gaia, HuntStand, Garmin or Google Earth (GPX, KML, KMZ, CSV). Export all your pins as one GPX file. - Off-road gauges: speed, elevation, heading, grade, trip and weather where you are. HUNT IQ - deer Movement Probability, tuned. - Each day now swings more with the conditions: strong days score higher, slow days score lower. - A flatter hour-to-hour curve, with less weight on first and last light. - Pre-rut timing for late October into November. - General bug fixes.

HUNT IQ - Movement Probability, rebuilt. - Deer, turkey, bear and hog each get their own Movement Probability, built from real GPS-collared animals. - Deer now accounts for storms and fronts: movement before a storm, after it clears and the next clear day, less in hard rain and heat, more in a freeze. - Every day shows its Best 2 Hours and Daylight Average. - The time now sits under the big number, with a % sign. - Weather cards fixed: front timing, rain total for the day, moon, and dawn/dusk windows. - 3D is just the 3D map now. - Off-road map fixes and general bug fixes.

HUNT IQ is easier to read. - WE'D HUNT / WE'D WAIT / WE'D PASS: one call in the same color as the Movement Score, with the next better hour when one is coming. Tap it to see what's helping and what's hurting. - PRESSURE IQ: tap the pressure to see the pressure ranges from our trail cameras - best, good, normal, weak and almost nothing - for each animal. - One line under the score explains this hour in plain words. - Wind or thermals: one readout shows whichever is in charge. - A rut countdown for your region. - Auto Analyze now switches HUNT IQ to the spot you analyzed, and flying the map to a new area follows you there. - The moon shows how much is lit and whether it is waxing or waning. - STREET mode is gone from the phone; CarPlay still has it.

HUNT IQ is more accurate. It now reads sea-level pressure, the same reading its pressure ranges were built on from real trail-camera data, scores every hour with that hour's weather, and runs on your hunting spot's own clock. Deer is one number, and it tracks how often deer actually showed up on camera: a good morning reads around 60, and only a standout day breaks 80. Front Proximity only counts a real front - a true pressure drop followed by cooler weather - instead of the normal daily pressure swing. The rut line shows your region and the peak dates. With no signal, HUNT IQ shows your last saved forecast and how old it is.

3D is steadier. Fixed the white flash that could send you back to the flat map when you opened 3D with land boundaries turned on. 3D also recovers on its own from a weak signal and gives its memory back as soon as you close it.

Hold the TOOLS button to hide the side buttons and see the whole map. Hold it again to bring them back. 3D is steadier. It waits for the real ground before it shows, recovers on its own when elevation is slow, and opens more reliably after you fly to a stand and look at photos.

Hunt IQ now looks a week ahead. Tap any day to see that day's movement curve and best times, so you can plan your hunt. My Stands now has a Remove button on every stand, so you can swap one out. The pin stays on your map.

Offline maps, fixed. A hunting download now saves Satellite, Hybrid, Topo and LiDAR, and you can flip between them with no signal. Creeks and the street map now work offline, and 3D shows the map you pick.

Fixes for the 3D map and offline maps. - Fixed a black screen that could appear when the 3D map ran low on graphics memory. The flat map now stays on screen while 3D recovers, instead of being hidden behind an empty panel. - Fixed 3D sometimes hanging for 15 seconds after switching map layers. - Fixed opening 3D right after flying to a saved stand, which could put you in the wrong place. - Flying to a stand no longer gets undone by GPS recentering. - Offline maps: error pages could be saved as map tiles, which left gaps when you were out of service. Saved tiles are now checked properly, and a download that partly fails says so instead of reporting success. - Added Diagnostics > Offline maps - check & repair, which finds and clears bad saved tiles. - Camp, Cabin and Gate markers are back in the hunting marker list. - Fixed a rare problem where damaged saved data could stop the app loading.

3D NO LONGER GOES BLACK, AND IT NO LONGER QUITS ON YOU Two separate problems. Both fixed. THE BLACK SCREEN Tapping 3D used to cover the map you were looking at with an empty black one, then leave it there while the terrain loaded. Your map now stays up until 3D genuinely has something to draw, and only then takes the screen. 3D CLOSING ON ITS OWN The 3D map was never released when you went back to 2D. It stacked up every time you looked, until your phone took the graphics memory back mid-look and 3D vanished. It now lets go 30 seconds after you leave it, so nothing piles up. Nothing else changed.

IF YOUR CREW CANNOT SEE YOU, THE APP NOW SAYS SO If you gave TerrainIQ location access "While Using the App", your dot stops the moment your phone locks or you switch apps - which is exactly when your crew needs it. The app only warned you when it had no location at all, so this failed silently and you looked fine to yourself. MY CREW now tells you plainly when this is happening, and where to fix it. Also in this one: once you have used TerrainIQ over a few days it will ask, one time, whether you would rate it. One tap and it never asks again. It will not interrupt you while a route is running.

YOUR BACKUP NOW ACTUALLY SAVES A FILE Backing up on the phone was handing the file to nothing. It reported success and saved nothing. It now writes a real file you can find in Files > On My iPhone > TerrainIQ, keeps the previous one instead of overwriting it, and says so plainly if it ever fails. Your Stand IQ setup is included in the backup for the first time, so the deer and walk-in arrows you set survive a restore. STAND IQ PICKS THE RIGHT WINDOW The stand picker was ignoring the terrain read the app had already worked out for that spot, and it was running its own rough thermal model instead of the one the rest of the app uses. Both are fixed. It now knows that a slope starts draining as soon as it falls into shade rather than at sunset, that east-facing ground turns sooner than west-facing, and that the air at first light is still running downhill. A high stand now reads mid-morning instead of first light, and the pick tells you which window it chose and the hours for it instead of just that it chose. ALSO Deleting a pin now removes it from Stand IQ instead of leaving it behind in the list.

YOUR MAPS ON YOUR TRUCK'S SCREEN CarPlay now draws our maps instead of a plain road map. HUNTING gives you aerial with contour lines. OFF-ROAD gives you clean satellite with the national forest trail network on top, colored by what is allowed on each one. STREET stays the road map for driving. The trails are built into the app, so they work with no signal. MY CREW SURVIVES A POCKET Crew members keep reporting with the app closed and the screen off, so nobody goes stale while they walk to a stand. Each member has to allow location "Always" for this to work. HUNT IQ REBUILT ON REAL TRAIL CAMERA DATA Three years of tagged photos measured against the barometric pressure at the same spot. Pick the animal you are after - buck, doe, turkey, bear or predator - and the read changes with it. Buck and doe show side by side, because the pressure that moves one can be the pressure that shuts the other down. Rut phase is shown for wherever you are standing. LIDAR OFFLINE Download an area and read the bare shape of the ground with no service at all, on both the hunting and off-road maps.

• 3D that drops in: every map opens flat, then tilts into 3D - and it shows up faster. • Thermals in 3D: watch the air move on the real terrain - falling air drains down the draws and pools in the bottoms, rising air climbs to the ridges. • Same buttons in 2D and 3D, in the same spots. THERMALS now sits on the left above MY STANDS. • New WATER button to show or hide creeks. • Off-road and street keep their own buttons in 3D (Record Ride, Point Me There, Drop My Truck). • Faster, sharper terrain online, and a wider saved area for offline 3D. • Smarter thermal reads: a short turnaround window before sunset, east and west slopes turn at different times, and a chance of rain no longer overrides the read. • Many stability fixes.
