Find and understand every sail Sessions and races now have search, date and tag filters, plus instant summaries of your filtered sailing — including distance, time, sailing days, maximum speed and average speed. Tag sessions by boat, gear, race series or anything else you want to track. Better session playback Replay your sailing with new analog instrument gauges and improved charts. Compare two data channels on a shared scale, making differences in speed, wind, heading and other data much easier to see. A smarter marks library Save racing marks once and reuse them across races. You can also set a first mark directly in SailStats, even without a chartplotter. More accurate sailing data Average speed calculations have been improved to use distance over time, giving a more representative measure of your sailing performance. We’ve also improved wind-shift detection so tacks aren’t mistaken for shifts. Improved boat heading on map When instrument heading data is available, the boat icon on maps and fleet replays now points where the bow is actually pointing — not simply the direction you’re moving. That means you can see the effects of leeway and current too. Optional Sign in with Apple SailStats still works without an account. But you can now optionally sign in to keep your shared races connected to you, making it easier to move to a new iPhone or iPad in future.
