KorReader is a calm feed reader for iPhone and iPad. Read the web on your own terms: every article on your device, ranked by nobody, no account, no algorithm. FOLLOW SITES THAT HAVE NO FEED Plenty of the web can't be followed at all: the blog you like, a company's news page, a site that dropped its RSS years ago. Paste the address into KorReader and you get a feed anyway. New posts turn up as unread articles, like everything else. It is called an Auto Feed, it is built on your iPhone rather than by a service in between, and it survives the site's next redesign. WATCH ANY PAGE FOR CHANGES Some pages have nothing to subscribe to: a price list, a press page, one post that keeps being edited. Watch it, and the next change arrives as an article you can read. Where Apple Intelligence is available, KorReader leaves out changes that mean nothing, like a date, a counter or a cookie notice, and writes a headline and a couple of sentences about the rest. The page itself never leaves your device. EVERYTHING ELSE YOU ALREADY FOLLOW - RSS, Atom and JSON Feed: paste a link and KorReader finds the feed for you. - Reddit: subreddits, users and multireddits, no login. - YouTube: paste a channel or a video link, and new uploads arrive like any other feed. No Google account. - Coming from another reader? Import your OPML, categories and all. Exporting is free, always. A READER, NOT A TIMELINE Articles open in a reader built for reading: no ads, no cookie banners, no waiting. Set the type size, typeface, line spacing and theme to suit you, then swipe sideways for the next one. Full articles are downloaded before you ask for them, so your list still reads with no signal, and search reaches all of it. LISTEN INSTEAD OF READING Any article can be read out loud, so you can put the phone away and keep listening. The controls are on the Lock Screen, in Control Center and in CarPlay, at a speed you set. The voice follows the language of the article, not the one your iPhone is set to. ASK SIRI, FIND IT IN SPOTLIGHT "What's unread in KorReader", "read me an article", "save this for later". Most of it is answered without the app ever opening. Your articles show up in Spotlight too, found by what they are about. QUIET BY DESIGN Unread first. Mark it read, and when the count reaches zero the app has nothing more to show you. That is the point. No ads, no trackers, no accounts, nothing nagging you back. YOURS, AND PRIVATE Your feeds are fetched by your iPhone and stay on it. There is no account and no server of ours in the middle. Subscriptions, rules and what you have read follow you to your other devices through your own iCloud, and you can switch that off. KorReader checks in the background when iOS says it is a good moment, so the battery hardly notices. KORREADER PLUS Plus lifts the limit. Follow as many feeds as you want, and put the word rules to work: highlight words make sure the one piece you were waiting for never slips past you in a list of two hundred, and mute words retire a topic for good, in one feed or in all of them. One subscription covers the whole family through Family Sharing. The app is free up to 15 feeds, and reading, listening, Read Later, search and OPML export never cost anything. KorReader Plus is an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically for the same period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage and cancel it in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
