Record a word, hear it in reverse, then try to say it backwards so it plays forward again. Way harder, and way funnier, than it sounds.
Rewind is a party game about saying words backwards.
One player reads a word out loud. The app plays it in reverse. The next player listens to that strange, alien sounding audio and tries to copy it. Then the app flips their attempt back around. If they nailed the backwards version, it comes out as the original word. If they missed, you get something gloriously weird. Either way, everyone laughs.
It sounds simple. It is not. Saying a word so that it plays backwards is one of the hardest and funniest things you can do with your mouth.
HOW A ROUND WORKS
1. Player one reads the word and records it.
2. The app plays it reversed. That gibberish is the target.
3. Player two tries to say the gibberish out loud.
4. The app flips it back. Did it turn into the word?
5. Score it together, then swap roles.
WHAT IS INSIDE
Duo mode. Two players, one phone. Pass it back and forth, no setup, no accounts.
Themes. Warm ups, snacks, animals, space, movies, tongue twisters, and more.
Hard Mode. Words that are almost impossible to reverse, for show offs.
Difficulty dots. Every word is rated one to three, so you know what you are getting into.
Slow it down. Play the reversed target at half speed so you can actually hear it.
Your own words. Add custom words and phrases for inside jokes and themed rounds.
Four languages. Play the app in English, French, Spanish, or Indonesian. You can even keep the app in your language and say words in one you do not speak.

No ads. No accounts. Nothing to sign up for. Your recordings are processed on your device and are not uploaded anywhere.
