Kingdom Rise is a medieval strategy game about building something that lasts — a city that grows, an army you shaped yourself, and a campaign that keeps asking harder questions. No internet connection required. Play anywhere.
BATTLES YOU ACTUALLY FIGHT
Combat is not a number comparison. Choose a formation before you march — Vanguard for raw damage, Shieldwall to keep your troops alive, Raiders for loot — then fight the battle as it happens. Call a Rally to heal your line and bring in reinforcements. Land critical strikes. Read the momentum meter and know whether to press or hold.
Five troop types counter each other, so a balanced army beats a big one:
Infantry — tanky front line, strong against Cavalry
Archers — ranged damage, strong against Infantry
Cavalry — fast heavy hitters, strong against Archers
Siege — slow catapults that deal double damage to bosses
Clerics — field medics who heal your wounded mid-battle
Every camp shows your real win chance and recommends a tactic before you commit. Bosses enrage below 40% health and telegraph a devastating smash — survive it and the fight turns.
A CITY WHERE PLACEMENT MATTERS
Build farms, sawmills, mines, houses, barracks and walls, then upgrade them into a working economy. Buildings give adjacency bonuses to their neighbours, so where you place something matters as much as what you place. Watch your villagers walk out, chop wood, mine ore and harvest fields while your kingdom runs itself.
AN 18-CAMP CAMPAIGN
March through three themed regions, each with its own battlefields, weather and enemies. Camps carry modifiers that force you to adapt — fortified walls, enemy reinforcements, hostile terrain. Claim territory on the world map, defend against raids, and test your best army in the Endless Arena.
SURVIVAL SIEGE — HOLD THE GATE
Your toughest test. Endless waves of raiders throw themselves at your gate, each wave harder than the last. Your survivors carry between waves, so attrition is real — a bigger, balanced army holds far longer than a big one. Every fifth wave a Warlord leads the charge, enrages below 40% health, and telegraphs a devastating smash. How many waves can you hold? Beat your best to earn gem bonuses, then come back when your garrison has regrouped.
HEROES WHO GROW WITH YOU
Recruit eight heroes, each with a passive bonus and a unique battle ability. They earn experience by leading your battles — not by draining your wallet — and ascend through five star ranks as they fight.
