Trip Mode now keeps your route and guidance active when you lock your iPhone. Put the phone in your pocket, continue the trip and return without losing the active route. Trip restoration and location-permission guidance are clearer too.

Take a source-reviewed field handbook and manual observation key offline. SoppRadar now explains conditions with clear qualitative guidance instead of leading with a precise-looking score. Followed species are separated from current and later-season suggestions, saved field briefs include reviewed field marks, and species in multi-species map areas open directly.

New in 1.4: Choose 1–5 target mushrooms before Trip Mode and see them on the breadcrumb map. Add private pins for known places, delete trip history, and use clearer Promising/Possible/Weak conditions with visible data quality. The watchlist now includes more seasonal mushrooms, berries and plants. New field-guide illustrations, an observation key, photo guidance and offline trip packs make the app more useful outdoors. Global forest validation is improved and search hints in open urban areas are filtered out.
