What's new • You can now change your favourite category once per day. This keeps its top three trends free while preventing the setting from being used to unlock every category at once. • The annual Premium plan now shows its per-month equivalent and savings next to the price, alongside the monthly plan, instead of a bare yearly total.

• The daily character greeting on the Home screen now plays in your chosen character's voice, and the play button clearly shows when audio is loading and when it is playing. • The greeting is now written for all 365 days of the year in every supported language — English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish and French — instead of repeating a handful of lines. • Trends that need Premium now show a lock and an explanation instead of appearing empty. • You can pick a favourite category in My Account; its top three trends stay free. • The up/down arrows next to a trend now describe movement in the ranking you are actually looking at, compared with yesterday. • The date and the daily word now roll over at midnight Japan time without restarting the app. • Swiping between categories now keeps the category chips in view. • Fixes for sign-out, translation quality, and several smaller display issues.
