As someone who has always stuck to a few anime and wanted to get into more, this website and app are incredibly helpful. It’s hard to figure out where to start on google searches, since most get you similar lists of the biggest anime. This one has been amazing for being able to search specific preferences, and I already have watchlists made that have anime I haven’t heard of elsewhere. It’s also very convenient that it shows you where you can watch each one. Definitely recommend if you’re a big anime fan or if you’re someone trying to explore more

I grew up a huge fan of every anime you could imagine but as I got older and responsibilities piled up, I totally fell off. This has been a great way to discover new anime and keep up with new releases. I’m especially a big fan of the genre search tool as someone who is into a wide variety of genres. And I would never catch new season drops without the app. Fantastic tool for getting back into the know!

I’ve always used an iPhone Note to track future anime I want to watch and generally refer to a google/reddit searches when trying to identify anime that match what I’m looking for. Now Bento serves up everything on a platter! Watchlist functionality and what looks like solid recommendations to match specific vibes… already added a couple new ones to the watchlist after scrolling around a bit.

Bento is my favorite anime app. It makes it really easy to discover new anime, get recommendations based on what I actually like, and keep track of everything I’m watching in one place.The anime scanner is especially cool!!! It’s so unique. You can use a screenshot or image to identify an anime and then immediately find out more about it and where to watch it!
