BriefVista is a personal RSS news reader. You choose the newspapers and feeds it follows. The app fetches them directly on your device, extracts articles, and creates your daily edition.
No account. No BriefVista server. No ads and no analytics identifiers.
Your edition
• Newspaper or feed layout: choose the way you want to read
• Sections, search, archive, and favourites
• Find sources in the setup assistant or enter an RSS address
• Personal weighting by topic, section, and source, with a one-tap return to editorial order
Read and listen
• Read articles aloud with voices available on your iPhone
• Listen to podcasts from your sources in the same audio area
• Play original audio supplied by a publisher when available
• Create and share PDFs of selected articles
Languages and context
• Translate foreign-language articles on demand or automatically with Apple Translation
• Learning Mode: tap a sentence to translate only that sentence
• AI context and summaries when the device supports Apple’s on-device language models
Your articles, images, reading state, favourites, and sources stay on your device. You can optionally choose your own iCloud Drive folder for your library. Source requests go directly from your device to the respective publishers.
