Bring a friend who doesn't have Fairways yet. Add them as a guest with their handicap, keep their score, and send them their scorecard after the round. If they join, the round becomes theirs. Also new: - More accurate handicaps for 9-hole rounds - Course ratings for every tee - A quick way to report a scorecard mistake - Tournament invite links now open straight into the tournament - Smoother following and other fixes

Playing a round with friends got a lot better: • Everyone plays their own tee. Each player picks their tee as they join, and their handicap comes from that tee's rating — not from whoever started the round. • Scores cross live. Partners' scores appear as they're entered, and the starter can see who has joined before teeing off. • The card comes before the result. Everyone lands on the scorecard, with each player's tee and rating on it. Flag a score that looks wrong and the scorekeeper hears about it straight away. • A caddie that knows your bag. It sees which clubs you carry and how far you hit each one, so "what should I hit here" has a real answer — and it talks in score to par, not stroke count. • Your wedges, by loft. Enter the ones you actually carry: 52, 54, 56, 58, 60. We also played the app through as a brand new golfer and fixed what got in the way: • Fairways, greens and putts reach your posted card • A caption you write stays on it • No more seeing the same round twice on Home • The comment box sits above the keyboard, not behind it • A hole you tap stays picked • Cards number the holes you actually played, so a round starting on the 5th adds up • Goals aren't suggested against a handicap you've already beaten • Rounds you save without sharing show up on your home screen

Your handicap now works the way the USGA says it should. Scores are measured against the real rating and slope of the tee you actually played, and the strokes you receive change with the course — the same handicap gets more shots on a hard track than an easy one. Nine-hole rounds count. Women are rated off the women's tees. In a group, every player picks their own tee as they join and sees the rating they'll be scored off. Each player's photo is ringed in the color of their tee, so you can see at a glance why the strokes fall the way they do. Before you tee off, you can see who's accepted — and start anyway whenever you like. Also fixed: the keyboard no longer covers what you're typing, messages you've read stay read, Trash Talk opens at the newest message, solo rounds finish in one tap, and quitting a round takes once.

Log the rounds you've already played Add any round you've played — a total, your front and back nine, hole by hole, or a photo of the scorecard. It counts toward your handicap like any other round. Handicaps, calculated properly Every round is now measured against the real Course Rating and Slope of the course and tee you played. Some indexes will move the next time you post a score. If yours changes, this is why. Also in this release: • Scores update on every player's phone, not just the scorekeeper's • Trash talk sends a notification • Share a round as an image • Tee time reminders the night before • Course search finds far more courses • Faster signup, and a long list of fixes to rounds and messages

Write a post You can now write and share a post from the feed — add a photo, attach a scorecard, tag who you played with, and choose who sees it. Scan a scorecard Take a photo of a paper scorecard to import the round, under Add a round. Look back at any round Tap a round in your profile to see the full scorecard hole by hole, along with your fairways, greens and putts. Rounds finish on their own A finished round no longer waits indefinitely for everyone to sign off. Everyone who needs to sign off now gets a notification, and the round counts automatically after 12 hours either way. A clearer round card Gross and net at a glance, with birdies, fairways, greens and putts underneath. Group rounds show every player with their own score and stats.

• Watching a friend's round now shows their scorecard, hole by hole • Messages you've read stay read • Fairways Pro members get a badge on their profile and posts • Groups and notifications you delete stay deleted • Behind-the-scenes fixes so problems get reported instead of failing quietly

• Group messaging is fixed — messages now save, send, and appear live for everyone • Notifications open the conversation they're about • Share live keeps your round private while you play, not just after you finish • Password reset links now work on the web • Messages sent while the app was closed load when you reopen it • Sign-in screens scroll properly on smaller phones • Profile changes save reliably
