Skydo sets screen time limits that iPhone actually enforces — on your child's phone, or on your own.
It is built directly on Apple's Screen Time technology, which means iOS itself does the blocking. Not a VPN. Not a profile. Not a background app that can be force-quit. Blocked apps simply do not open.
WHO IT'S FOR
When you set Skydo up, you choose: are you managing a child's device, your own — or is this the parent's phone that controls the child's? The app changes to match.
FOR PARENTS
• Block social media — one tick covers Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook and every other social app, including ones installed later
• Website filter — inappropriate sites blocked automatically in Safari, in-app browsers and search
• School Mode — from 08:00 to 14:00 on weekdays everything blocks except the apps you allow. It unlocks itself at 14:01. Weekends stay free
• Bedtime — every app locks between the hours you choose
• Daily time limits — 30 minutes to 4 hours, then iOS blocks until tomorrow
• Ask for More Time — your child requests extra time from the block screen and you grant 15 minutes with one tap, or don't
• Homework Mode — put a task on the block screen. Your child taps "I've done it", you get the claim with a timestamp, and you unlock with one tap
• Instant Pause — one button blocks everything for 30 minutes
• Weekly report — a card you can share showing how the week went
• Locked down — Face ID or a parent PIN, with app deletion and new installs blocked so your child can't uninstall their way around it
CONTROL IT FROM YOUR OWN PHONE
Install Skydo on your phone too, choose "Parent's phone", and pair it with your child's phone using a one-time code. Bedtime, limits, school hours, homework unlock and the web filter can then be changed from wherever you are — and "pause everything for 30 minutes" is always one tap away. Which apps are blocked is chosen on the child's phone and stays there.
FOR YOURSELF
• Focus sessions — choose the apps and how long. 15 minutes to 4 hours, or a whole day. They don't open until the timer is done
• The same website filter, bedtime and daily limits, applied to your own device
• Lock your own settings behind a PIN, so a weak moment can't undo them
PRIVACY
Skydo has no servers of its own. There is nothing to sign up for, no account, no analytics and no tracking. Every setting stays on your device, and Apple's design means even we cannot see which apps you chose to block. The optional parent-phone link runs on your own iCloud and carries only the rule toggles, keyed by a random code — never names, never app lists.
Available in 17 European languages, including the block screen itself.
Skydo requires Screen Time to be enabled. Subscription required; you can cancel anytime in your Apple subscription settings.
Skydo is not affiliated with Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook or any other service named above. Those names appear only as examples of apps you may choose to block.
SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS
Skydo Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Length: 1 week. Price: €7.99 per week (prices in other currencies are shown at purchase). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
