What you can't read, and what you can't catch — translated on the spot, in 60 languages. Miruyaku translates the foreign language around you: the audio of a video, a game or comic on screen, a sign on a trip, the person in front of you. ■ New in 1.7.3: 60 languages - Translate into 60 languages. Languages Apple's on-device translation doesn't cover are downloaded in the app (about 30 MB each) and run entirely on your iPhone - Read text in 48 languages, including Czech, Finnish, Hungarian, Romanian, Catalan and Malay - Use the app in your own language: download a language and the whole app is shown in it (translated on your iPhone) - On-device AI (optional, iOS 26 or later, about 2.5 GB): a translation AI that runs on your iPhone and reads the context, even offline. Slower than standard translation; speed depends on your iPhone model ■ Video audio into subtitles Miruyaku listens to the video or app playing on your iPhone and shows the translation in a thin floating window. Switch between device audio and the microphone. Lines break where the speaker pauses, so a sentence never swaps out halfway. ■ Text on screen Game dialogue, Webtoon speech bubbles, overseas articles. Keep scrolling, keep playing — translations keep flowing, each with a snippet of the original so you know which line it is. Pause any time. ■ Point the camera Hold it up to a sign, a menu or a label. The translation lands on top of each original line, so lists like menus stay readable. Tap to focus on small print. ■ Conversation Sit across the screen and speak your own languages; translations are read aloud. Back-and-Forth listens for both languages at once, so nobody presses a button before speaking. Or take turns, and check what was heard before sending. ■ Photos Pick a screenshot and the translation is laid over the original text, or read long articles paragraph by paragraph. Works from the share sheet and shortcuts such as a double back tap. Every translation is kept in History. ■ Choose how to translate - Standard: Apple's on-device translation. Fast and private - Apple Intelligence on supported iPhones - On-device AI (download) - High-accuracy mode (optional): bring your own API key for DeepL, Google, OpenAI, Gemini or Claude. Your key is stored only in this iPhone's Keychain Settings explain the strengths and cautions of each. AI engines take longer than standard translation. ■ Privacy - Standard translation, downloaded languages and the on-device AI run entirely on your iPhone. Screen contents and audio are never sent to the developer's servers - Only in high-accuracy mode is text sent directly to the service you chose - Nothing is recorded. History stays on this iPhone - We may ask permission to track for advertising. Video audio translation, conversation and the on-device AI need iOS 26 or later. Listening works in the languages your iPhone's speech recognition supports. Hindi, Greek, Hebrew and some others can be translated into but not yet read from images.

1.7.4 — Smoother to use. • Before downloading language data or an AI model, the app now shows what it is and how large it is. It downloads only when you choose to. • Ads are now prepared in advance and appear without a wait at the end of a translation, never in the middle of one. • Added "Report an inappropriate ad" in Settings.
