THE DAHLIA LIBRARY Explore more than 8,300 varieties, each catalogued by form, color, size, and hybridizer, with photos contributed from real gardens. Search, browse A to Z, or filter your way to the exact bloom you're dreaming of. YOUR GARDEN Catalogue everything you grow, from established favorites to your own from-seed crosses. Keep the season with each one: where it came from, the day you planted it, the day it first bloomed, how many tubers or cuttings it came from, and any notes you want to remember next year. Your newest photo of each variety becomes its face in your garden, and your garden page becomes a storefront if you choose to sell. THE CAMERA Point it at a bloom. Save photos to your garden gallery or attach them to a variety you grow, right from the field with dirt on your hands. THE GARDEN MAP Visualize your garden before you plant it. Draw beds to your garden's real shape, place dahlias straight from the Library or your wishlist, and arrange everything with a fingertip. Switch to Walk mode and a tap on any bloom opens that variety, with its form, color, hybridizer, and photos from other growers. SEEDLINGS AND CROSSES Record a cross with its seed parent and its pollen parent, or mark it open pollinated when the bees chose. Follow every seedling that pod produces, photograph each one as it blooms, and mark it keep, watch, or cull. A culled seedling keeps its parentage, so years later a cross still shows you everything it ever made. THE MARKETPLACE Buy tubers, cuttings, and seeds from growers across the country, with payment protection and seller reviews built in. Or list your own extras: you set the price, we bring the buyers, and you keep 93% of every sale. WISHLIST ALERTS Add the varieties you're hunting to your wishlist and we'll email you the moment one is listed for sale. GARDEN+ An optional membership for growers who keep records. Log what you lift. Record each plant's tuber yield at digging and how it's stored, whole clump or divided, packed in what, kept where, saved season by season. When your garden says a variety is stored, the number comes from what you counted. Follow your cuttings from taken to rooted to planted, round by round. Raise as many seedlings as you like, with no ceiling on a breeding season. Map your whole collection with no limit, see what share of your garden is in bloom, and download the lot as one spreadsheet whenever you want it. Browsing is free with no account. A free account unlocks your garden, wishlist, and buying and selling, and includes 50 flowers on the Garden Map and 20 seedlings. Garden Map improvements, including a fix that could leave a flower in a square you didn't tap. You can now save your planting list as a PDF from Edit My Garden. The Library shows how many varieties match your filters, and a variety page tells you when nobody is selling it rather than showing nothing at all.
