InSync Motion
AI baseball swing analysis
Only for iPhone
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
20 checks from one swing, the one fix that unlocks the most, and the drills to groove it. Two free analyses every month, in English and Spanish.
Film one swing. Get the 20 checks a hitting coach would run, in about a minute.
InSync Motion watches your swing frame by frame and marks every check yes, almost there, or work on this, with the frame it saw. Then it tells you the one fix that unlocks the most and gives you the drills to groove it. English and Spanish.
WHAT YOU GET
• A 20-check swing checklist: balance, sequence, bat path, contact and finish
• The frame number behind every answer, so nothing is a black box
• The one fix that unlocks the most, in plain words
• A drill plan for that fix, with a demo video on every drill
• Your swing timeline, phase by phase, from stance to finish
• A re-check plan: film again in three days and see what you fixed since last time
• Progress over time: how many checks you pass, session after session
COACHING TOOLS
Fix My Miss: popping up, rolling over, late on the fastball? Pick the miss and get the cause, the fix, an in-game cue and the drills for it. Build My Swing lays out the blueprint for the hitter you want to become, and Mindset gives you a reset routine for the moments that get to you.
TWO FREE ANALYSES EVERY MONTH
Every account gets two analyses a month at no charge, plus the drills your report recommends and anything your coach assigns. More analyses, unlimited game logging, the full drill library and the recruiting link take a subscription.
HITTERS: compare two swings side by side, log games and at bats with a spray chart, and send one recruiting link to a school or scout (Silver and Gold).
PITCHERS: import a Trackman or HitTrax report and keep every bullpen in one place, pitch by pitch, visible to your coach.
COACHES: build a roster, post your own drills, assign them, and see what each player is working on.
HOW TO FILM: from the side, whole body in frame, full speed, a few seconds either side of contact. A rear or head-on angle hides the bat path.
Players under 13 need a parent or guardian, and a player's breakdown stays private unless they share it. Not a medical device: it does not diagnose or treat any condition.

more Your report arrives even if you leave. Once your swing reaches the analyzer, you can close the screen or the app, or lose the signal: the report lands in Progress on its own, saved as private until you post it, and the app tells you when it is there. While it works, the screen says how much is being sent and how long each step has been going. A clip picked from your library is sent at 1080p, so it goes up in a fraction of the time on cellular.
Easier to find your way around. Settings is grouped into Parent or guardian, Language, Account, Notifications and email (the weekly and monthly recap emails are two switches now) and Support, each row with its own icon. A new player sees one card, Record your first swing, instead of a row of zeros. The recruiting checklist shows how far along you are, and your invite code copies with a tap and has a QR code a teammate can scan. Buttons are a little bigger, Record buzzes, and big numbers fit at larger text sizes.

Check your fix. Your report now turns the one fix into a short plan: the drills for it and a day to film again, with a reminder on your phone if you want one. When you film that next swing, the report opens with what you fixed since last time.
Better in Spanish. The checklist has its accents, and new reports explain each check in Spanish too.
Smoother. Screens settle in instead of hesitating, the swing report lands in order (the card, then the ring, then the number and the celebration), and the app respects Reduce Motion from the first screen.

Your checklist on every saved session. Opening a session from your reports now shows the same checklist as the report you got right after the analysis, instead of the old category bars. Tap a category to see how its checks work. Coaches see each category's count on their players' sessions too.
Report a session with a note. When you report someone else's session, there is now an optional box to tell us what was wrong, and your words reach the person who reviews it.
Updated privacy policy. It now names the service we use for error reports and says what a report can and can't contain.

Your score is now a checklist. Instead of a number, every analyzed swing or pitch shows how many of twenty checks came back yes, like 13 of 20, with the one thing to work on first and the frame it was seen in. Each check is something a coach can see in your video, marked yes, almost there, or work on this. The feed, your progress chart, the roster and your score card all show the same count.
Post your score. Every analyzed session now has a Share score card button on iPhone: a story-size card with your score, grade and category bars that you can send straight to Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat or Messages. Scores only by default; the full breakdown goes on only if you switch it on for that share.
Picking a handle is quicker. The signup screen now checks your handle as you type and tells you right away if it is taken, and if it is yours it offers to sign you in instead. The messages at the end name the exact thing to fix, and handles typed with accents keep the right letters. The welcome screen opens on a bigger baseball with the InSync Motion mark on it.

A friend's code is worth an extra analysis. Sign up with a player's share code and you get one extra free analysis in your first month, and the signup screen now says so. Players under 13 have a share link too once a parent has said yes; their public invite page shows a first name only.
Your swing score is on a tighter scale. The app used to add a few points on top of the engine's grade; now the number you see is the grade itself, never below 60. Scores you have already seen may read a few points lower, and the same swing reads the same number everywhere in the app.
Players can invite friends. Your profile now has a share link. A friend who enters your code when they create their account shows up under it, so you can see who joined.

Signing up is simpler: a few short screens, one question at a time, and if your coach gave you a code you can enter it on the very first one. For a player under 13, we ask for a parent or guardian's email and ask them ourselves, and nothing is analyzed until they say yes.
Logging an at-bat is now one tap from the spray chart on the Progress tab, even after the chart has hits on it.
If you use VoiceOver, you can now pick where the ball went from a list of spots on the field, like deep left or shallow center, instead of tapping the field, and the charts on the Progress tab are read out in words. Nothing changes for anyone else.
On the free plan, the app now makes it clear that your games reset each month.
An analysis keeps going while you look around the app. Before this, opening a post while your swing was still being scored could stop it and use up the analysis.
Changes to your profile take effect right away, including the side you bat from, which the analysis uses.
The microphone prompt now says what the app listens for: the sound of the bat on the ball, to find the moment of contact. The sound is removed from the video we keep, and it is explained in the privacy policy too.

The app has a voice now. A tap ticks, a result chimes, a refusal thuds, and a swing that scores 90 or above gets a home run: the crack, the crowd, and confetti over the score. The score lands like a stamp and the tab you choose nods. One switch under Settings turns the sounds off, and your phone's silent switch always wins.
Your swing, broken down now follows the athlete who swings, even with a catcher or umpire close to the camera, and every phase is cut from one steady frame, so the strip reads as the swing moving rather than the picture jumping. Every session already in the app has been re-drawn the same way.
Coaches: a step-by-step card on your Drills tab and a new section in the guide walk you through recording and posting a training video, and what your players see when you do.
Players: a drill your coach posted now shows their name, and the guide covers how to film a swing the analysis reads best.
The spray chart is easier to find. It sits on the Progress tab now, one tap from the bottom bar, and links straight through to Games and your season. Logging an at-bat takes fewer steps too.

Your week, in your inbox. Every Monday morning InSync Motion emails you a recap of the week that just ended: swings analyzed, your best score, the latest, and your game line if you logged games. On the 1st you get the month. Only when you did something, never a "you did nothing" email. For players under 13 it goes to the parent or guardian who approved the account. Coaches get their players' week in one email: who swung, how they did, the best score and whose it was.
Turn the recaps off or on any time in Profile, under Settings, or from the link at the bottom of any of them.
Also in this version: the app tells us which language you use when you sign in, so recaps arrive in Spanish for accounts set to Spanish, and the privacy policy in the app describes the recaps.
1.0.5 Sep 12
Your roster now shows each player's latest score, their age group and which way they hit, with whoever needs the most attention first. It used to be a list of names.
Progress separates what you posted from what you kept private, and a session that did not finish analyzing no longer lands on your chart as a zero.
The Everyone tab shows only sessions you can actually watch, and a session whose picture cannot load says so instead of leaving an empty space on the card. The shading behind the score no longer covers the bottom of the photo, so you see the whole frame.
Hitting only for now. The drill library and every discipline picker are hitting, so nothing sends you to a room with nothing in it. A drill your coach already posted keeps its own label, and Trackman and HitTrax bullpen imports are unchanged.
Two free analyses every month, which is what the app has always given and what this page should have said.
While a swing is uploading, the timer moves. It used to sit at zero for the whole upload, so a long clip on cell service looked exactly like a frozen app. And if an upload never reaches the analyzer, the analysis it used comes back to you.
Also in this build: a back button on the Following and Followers lists, the parent consent email and its pages in Spanish as well as English, a clear note for players under 13 while a parent's answer is pending (with a Remind my parent button), and VoiceOver reads your score out loud when a report lands.
Analyze shows how many analyses you have left this month, opens the plans sheet before the camera when you are out, and tells you when a credit comes back after a clip could not be scored. Coaches: a player whose uploads keep failing to score now reads "tries, none scored" at the top of your roster, so you can help before they give up.
Trimming a clip from your library now keeps your cut: drag the handles to the swing and that is what gets analyzed. Coaches have a Record button of their own, with a name field, and those sessions stay private to the coach. A session you kept private says Private on its card, and you can switch any of your sessions between Private and Posted from the session screen.
Coaches: your own recordings are listed on your Profile. And the privacy policy is in Spanish when your phone is.
1.0.4 Sep 11
A new look across the whole app: one palette and one type scale, depth and light on every screen, big scores that count up, video that fills its card, and motion that responds to what you do. Cleaner layouts too: underline tabs, filter chips, open sections instead of stacked cards, and shorter text that fits the screen. Record starts with the record button.
Every drill now has a transcript of what the coach says, with captions you can turn on over the video, and you can search the library by what is going wrong instead of by the drill's name. Two analyses every month are free.
Sign in with your handle or your email, and the forgot password link works properly now. For a player under 13 we email a parent or guardian, tell them what we collect, and wait for their answer before anything is analyzed.
1.0.3 Sep 8
InSync Motion analyzes both swings and pitching deliveries, and the App Store listing now says so. The plans sheet now opens the App Store purchase for every account. Privacy policy wording tidied.
