It lowers the barrier to making comics, so anyone can turn their story into pictures. ■ Let AI take the heavy lifting Build your own character in a style made for Instagram comics, put it in a pose, and stage any scene you want. Generate characters in a variety of styles, including popular hand-drawn looks, and apply poses that fit the scene while keeping your character's style consistent. Photos you have taken can be used as reference, or turned into backgrounds and scenes. By weaving characters, poses and backgrounds together, Tooni helps you turn the scene in your head into a picture with ease. ■ The drawing tools, done properly We built a practical toolkit around the brushes, effects and balloon shapes comic artists actually reach for, leaving out the fiddly parts so anyone can use it. Try simple staples like ballpoint, pencil and brush pen, plus spray and pattern effects that fill out the background of a cut. Balloons are built around feedback from working artists, so both the shape and the tail can be adjusted down to the detail. ■ Finish it, share it Canvas sizes made for social, and cuts grouped in order. Get your cut online right away and share your story quickly. ■ Start on Free, and upgrade to Pro when you need it With Pro, the AI credits you get every 30 days go up a lot, commercial use is allowed, and the watermark disappears when you share. Drawing tools, including every brush, are always free on every plan. Free plan AI credits are 100 every 30 days (about 10 standard-quality images). Tooni Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual). Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase, and it renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. New accounts get 300 AI credits free for 2 days, starting from your first AI generation rather than from sign-up. It is available once per account and once per device.
