• Ask MemRa is now front and centre. Every video you save is transcribed, so you can ask what was actually said in one — not just search the caption. • Once you have a few videos saved, we'll suggest some questions to try, built from the things you actually save. • Getting started is quicker: we no longer ask you to choose categories before you've saved anything. Pick them whenever you like from the menu instead.

• Clearer guidance when you bring in the videos you've already saved. • TikTok often doesn't tell you when your export file is ready — no email, no notification — so people wait for one that never arrives. We now say so up front, and we'll email you instead when it's time to go and grab it. • Instagram is usually the quicker of the two, so start there if you have both.

• Setting up MemRa now starts with the thing that makes it useful: bringing in the videos you've already saved on TikTok or Instagram. One import and your back catalog is searchable right away. • Don't have your export file yet? Ask for a reminder and carry on — you can add it whenever it arrives.

• Importing your TikTok or Instagram export now works when the file is kept in Google Drive or iCloud. It no longer has to be downloaded onto the phone first. • If a file still can't be read, the message now tells you what to do about it instead of just asking you to try again.

• Importing your TikTok or Instagram history now copes with big exports. A large archive used to fail part-way through with nothing to show for it; it now uploads steadily however big it is. • Saving from the share sheet is quicker — the "Saved" card no longer waits on background housekeeping first. • Ask is sharper: it no longer loses the video it just found, and searching with a question mark returns your videos instead of nothing at all. • Your sign-in is now kept in the iOS Keychain, so it is encrypted on the device and stays out of your backups.

• Help now shows you instead of telling you. Every section — saving from the share sheet, saving a link you copied, finding a video by just asking, sharing one on, bringing your TikTok and Instagram history over — now has a short video you can watch without leaving the app. • A full walkthrough sits at the top of Help if you would rather see the whole thing once, start to finish.

Behind-the-scenes improvements and small fixes.

Share-to-save now works right after you sign in. If you shared a video, signed in, then shared again, MemRa could still say “Sign in to save” — and the save was lost. That’s fixed. You can also select and copy the text on a saved video now, including the transcript, and forward the transcript itself to anyone.

Saving from TikTok and YouTube just got easier. MemRa now shows you where to find it in the share sheet — and the even quicker one-tap “Copy link” shortcut. If you signed up on our website first, you had never been shown this, so shares could quietly go nowhere. Now fixed.

Polish and small fixes. MemRa now asks how it's doing right after it finds something for you, instead of hiding that behind the menu — so if it has earned a rating, that's the moment to leave one.

Save a link you copied Copy a video link anywhere — TikTok, Instagram, YouTube — and MemRa offers to save it the moment you open the app. One tap, no hunting through the share sheet. Pasting links now actually works Fixed a bug where perfectly good TikTok links were turned away with "That wasn't a link", and links copied from some apps arrived as a file instead of a web address. A clearer start Onboarding now shows you how to pin MemRa near the top of your share sheet, so saving from TikTok is one tap instead of a scroll. Plus groundwork that helps us see where the app trips people up, so we can fix it faster.
