Do you like any of the bands playing in your town? Check in a few minutes with our TikTok-style feed. Invite friends to the concert, buy tickets and go together.
PURPOSE
Bandscheck is a concert discovery app for people who want to quickly hear who is playing in their city and organise with friends before they buy tickets. Listings and ticket sites usually do not let you listen in place. Many send you to another app just to hear a 30-second clip and decide if you like the artist. The home screen is a feed of upcoming local shows. Each artist card plays a Spotify audio preview or a YouTube performance video. Users can save artists, invite friends, and go to a show together (RSVP, split what they paid, store tickets). There are no ads and no in-app purchases. Get Tickets opens the partner site in Safari. We do not process payments.
TARGET AUDIENCE
People looking for live music in their city or while traveling. Groups who want a shared place to pick an artist, arrange who pays, keep tickets, and get directions.
GUIDELINE 2.5.4
This binary is 1.4.2 (31). Audio and video play only while the app is on screen. Home, lock, or app switcher pauses playback. There is no lock-screen player and no persistent background audio. 1.4.1 declared UIBackgroundModes audio from an unused Expo default. 1.4.2 removes that key. A background-audio screen recording is not attached because the app does not play in the background.

We use official APIs and official players only. Documentary evidence is attached (Spotify Dashboard app Urbanium, Granted quota extension 20 Nov 2023, website urbanium.xyz, Web API only; Extension Requests page; Bandscheck redirects bandscheck://auth/callback and https://api.bandscheck.com/auth/spotify/callback).
Audio: Spotify Web API official 30-second catalog preview clips. No full tracks. No user Spotify login in this release.
Video: YouTube IFrame Player API (youtube-nocookie.com). We do not extract or restream YouTube files on iOS.
Concerts: Ticketmaster Discovery API, Eventim, Entase, Bandsintown, Paradiso. Get Tickets opens Safari.

The app does not ask for a password. Open the menu (top left) → Sign in → type that email → tap Sign in. No verification code is sent. This account unlocks Friends, Your Shows (wishlist and upcoming Together shows), Together events, and invites.
GUEST MODE (no account)
Allow location or pick a city, then scroll the feed. Play audio or video, heart, trash, Get Tickets.
HOW TO REGISTER A NEW ACCOUNT
Menu → Sign in → Create account → accept Terms and Privacy → enter any email you control → tap Sign in → enter the 6-digit code from that inbox. Continue with Apple and Continue with Google also work.
HOW TO DELETE AN ACCOUNT
Please do not delete the demo account. It is protected so review can reuse it.
1. Register a throwaway email as above.
2. Menu → account / Profile → Your data (or the Delete account link).
3. Tap Delete my account, then tap again to confirm. The account is removed immediately.
