Stint is a planner for people who work shifts — built first for nurses.
Your day does not start at midnight. It runs from when you wake to when you sleep, and
a night shift spills into the next day. Every other planner breaks on that. Stint does
not.
THE DAY AFTER NIGHTS IS NOT A DAY OFF
Every hour of your life is one of five states: Working, Asleep, Recovering, Booked or
Free. Only the last one means you can say yes to somebody. The morning you come off
three nights reads empty on every other calendar. Stint calls it Recovering, and tells
you before you promise it away.
WHEN ARE YOU ACTUALLY FREE?
Pick a time and get an honest answer — Yes, Tight or No, with the reason. Then get the
message, written in the first person, ready to send: "Thursday will not work for me, I
come off nights that morning. Saturday evening is good."

• Rotation patterns that repeat forever — 4 on 4 off, 2-2-3, or your own cycle. Set it
once and every week fills itself.

WHAT IT IS WORTH
Hourly rate, overtime past a weekly threshold, a night premium, and a plain after-tax
estimate you set yourself. Week, month or year, with what you have actually worked kept
separate from what is merely booked. An estimate for your own planning — Stint does the
arithmetic, it does not file anyone's taxes.

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets with a live countdown, an Apple Watch app, and
shift alerts with real lead times: 12 hours before, so there is still time to sleep,
not a ten-minute scramble.
HONEST BY DESIGN
• Designed dark first, to be read half-asleep at 3am.
• Sign in with Apple once; after that it works with no signal at all.
• Every verdict comes from seven plain rules you can read inside the app. Nothing
hidden, nothing learned about you. Correct any assumption and your correction wins.
• Predictions always say "about". Anything measured says it was measured.
• Sleep read from Apple Health never leaves your device.
• Take your data with you any time: a full backup, or a spreadsheet of your shifts.
