Lucy 1.2.2 • Far less waiting when you come back to the app. Opening a long session and then switching away could freeze Lucy for several seconds — much longer on a nearly full device, because a storage check was running on the main thread on every screen update. That check now runs in the background, and the transcript does far less layout work. On an iPhone 11 with a 140-turn session the delay is about half what it was, and the longest single pause is under 2 seconds instead of nearly 3. • One purchase instead of two. Lucy used to show two separate unlocks; now a single purchase includes everything — unlimited sessions, export to text, Markdown and PDF, your own summary templates, and iCloud sync. The price is on the first screen of the purchase sheet rather than below the fold. • Honest wording about iCloud sync. A few screens said your recordings and transcripts never leave your device without adding that iCloud sync, if you choose to turn it on, copies them to your own private iCloud account. That is now stated accurately everywhere, including the microphone permission prompt. The privacy policy has been updated to match. • Readable at the largest text sizes. At accessibility text sizes the record button, the setup steps and the transcript header now stay on screen, and speaker names are no longer cut down to a single letter.

Lucy 1.2.1 • Fixed: if you don’t own Lucy Base yet, tapping iCloud sync, batch export or your own templates used to offer Lucy Pro on its own, which does not unlock those features without Lucy Base. Lucy now offers Lucy Base first. (Base owners still get the Pro offer there.) • Starting a summary now needs much less memory (the on-device 2B model peaks at about 40% less than before), to stop the crashes some iPhones with 4 GB of RAM hit on long recordings.

Lucy 1.2.0 • Fixed: sessions in Therapist, Legal and Education modes could come back with an empty transcript. Transcription in those modes now works exactly like Generic. • Fixed: the “Many speakers (LS-EEND)” model could not be downloaded on a real device. It now installs, and it uses a variant with a real capacity of up to 10 speakers. • Fixed: a completed “Standard” speaker model download could show as not installed. • New: models tell you when an update is available, and you choose when to download it. Settings › Storage can remove leftover model files. • Faster, leaner transcription of long recordings (a 27‑minute file now peaks at about a third of the memory it used before). • Lucy now sends anonymous crash, performance and usage diagnostics so bugs get fixed; these never include your recordings, transcripts, summaries or meeting names, and nothing that identifies you.
