Golf Passport: Course Finder
Free log of courses you played
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Free, and it fills itself in. Golf Passport reads the dates and GPS in your photos and rebuilds every round you played — 11 countries, all on your phone.
Golf Passport is a free app that turns the photos already on your phone into a record of every golf course you have played — and helps you find the next one.
YOUR PHOTOS ALREADY KNOW WHERE YOU PLAYED
Every photo you take on a course carries a date and GPS coordinates. Golf Passport reads them, matches them against 23,000+ real golf courses, and builds your golf history for you.
• No typing. No check-ins. No scorecards to fill in.
• One tap to scan; the rounds are simply there
ORGANIZED TWO WAYS
• BY DATE — a timeline of every round, newest first, grouped by year
• BY COURSE — each course collects all of your rounds there; open one to see every visit in order, each with the photos you took that day
• A map view shows everywhere you have played at a glance
23,000+ COURSES IN 11 COUNTRIES
United States · United Kingdom · Japan · Canada · Australia · Germany · France · Ireland · Sweden · New Zealand · South Korea
• Browse them all on one fast map
• Search by course name or city, or jump to what is near you
• Tap any course for its location, phone number, website and the courses on site
• Open directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps with one tap
100% PRIVATE, 100% ON DEVICE
• Photos are read on this device only. Nothing is uploaded and nothing leaves your phone.
• No account, no sign-up, no social feed
• You choose when to scan — nothing runs in the background
• Photos are never copied; they are referenced from your library and stay where they are
FREE
Golf Passport is free and supported by ads. No subscription, no paywall, no locked features.
WHAT GOLF PASSPORT IS NOT
It is a course finder and a visit log. It is not a rangefinder, not a scorecard, not a handicap tracker, and not a tee-time booking service.
Golf course data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Golf Passport is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any golf course, club, tour or association.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Courses you played now have one page, and the map tells your courses apart at a glance.
• One course page. Opening a round from Visits takes you to that course's own page, scrolled to the round you tapped, with a row of date chips to jump between rounds.
• New map pins. A ball on a tee: white for any course, gold with a check for one you have played, blue with a flag for one on your bucket list.
• Bucket list on a map. See whether your next few courses are one trip or several.
• Course tags. Tag a course you have played — fast greens, tough layout, walkable — and see what other golfers tagged it.
• Comments come first on a course page, with the verified-visit badge on the author's name.
• A passport stamp on every course you have played, dated the day you first played it.
