• Shortcuts & NFC: a new page in Settings hands you ready-made links. Put one on a Shortcut, an NFC sticker, the Action Button or Back Tap and the entry form opens in one step, currency already filled in. • Backup status: signed in, the account screen now shows how long ago your last successful backup was. • Exchange rates: a failed update used to be silent and looked exactly like a successful one. Now it says so.

See whether your backup actually worked Signed in, the account screen now tells you how long ago the last successful backup was, whether the most recent one failed, or whether nothing has ever been uploaded at all. Until now “backed up a minute ago” and “never uploaded once” looked identical on screen — you would only find out which one you had while restoring on a new phone, which is exactly too late.

• CSV import now gets the currency right. A currency written as RMB, or as a lowercase cad, used to count as unreadable — and anything unreadable was filed as US dollars. Those spellings are now understood, and rows whose currency genuinely cannot be read use the currency you picked for that import instead of always defaulting to dollars. The confirmation now tells you how many rows that was. • Feedback is no longer cleared from the box when sending fails, so there is something left to try again with. Entries in the history can also be copied back out. • The last 34 pieces of text that existed only in Chinese and English are now in all eight languages — including the warning shown before you delete a ledger, which is the one that tells you its transactions go with it.

• New accounts now take the name your sign-in method provides, or the part of your email before the @, instead of a fixed placeholder. A nickname you chose before signing up is kept, and long names no longer stretch the profile card out of shape. • The user ID in account settings is no longer truncated - it shows in full and copies with one tap, so you can quote it when you contact support. • App Lock's unlock prompt, passcode heading and lockout countdown are now translated into all eight languages.

• Every contact address in the app is now support@worldtab.app, including the ones in the privacy policy and terms. • We've started advertising, so this release adds install attribution to tell which channel an install came from. It reads none of your bookkeeping content — your records still stay on your device by default. See the privacy policy for details.

Ledgers can be renamed: tap the pencil in Ledger Management to fix a name, instead of deleting a ledger and losing its entries just to correct it. Better on bigger screens: on tablets and unfolded foldables the content is centred at a comfortable width instead of stretched across the whole display. The Rate us link in Settings now opens the App Store listing.

Recurring entries you can rely on: rules set for the 29th, 30th or 31st no longer skip a month or drift to another date, entries are still recorded when the app stays open for weeks, and using two devices no longer books each one twice. Budgets and amounts, exactly right: switching display currency now converts your budgets along with it, and amounts typed with a comma decimal (12,50) are read correctly. Sturdier sync and backup: entries you delete or edit offline are no longer undone by the next sync, signing back in restores your own data from your account, and receipt photos survive a reinstall. A cleaner account switch: signing out now clears App Lock, its passcode and the hide-balance setting instead of leaving them behind for the next account. Recurring dates shown correctly: the next date shown for a recurring entry now matches the day it will actually be recorded, so a rule set for the end of the month no longer displays a date that drifts.
