Doomscrolling less starts with one app. Set a daily limit, get a nudge before you cross it, and collect a green dot for every day you win. Private by design.
Screenchi turns "staying under a daily app limit" into a habit you'll actually want to keep. Pick the app that eats your day, set a limit, and watch your calendar fill with green. Go over, and today's dot turns red. Simple, visual, and motivating.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick an app -> the one you'd like to use a little less.
2. Set a daily limit -> anywhere from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours.
3. Build your habit -> every day under your limit earns a green dot. Keep it alive.
FEATURES
• Real-time alerts -> a gentle heads-up as you near your limit, and a nudge the moment you hit it. No end-of-day surprises.
• Progress you can see -> your days as a grid of dots: green for a win, red for a slip, a flame for your current run.
• Home Screen widgets -> your streak and this week's progress, one glance away.
• Make it yours -> give each tracked app a private nickname and icon.
• Your full history -> days tracked, days within goal, and your best streak. Always free.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Screenchi is built to respect you:
• It never learns which app you track. Apple keeps that private, the app only ever sees an anonymous token, never the real name.
• Everything stays on your device. Your limits, streaks, and history never leave your phone.
• No ads. No cross-app tracking. No account. We never sell your data.
GREAT FOR
• Cutting back on social media, games, or endless scrolling
• A lightweight digital detox that fits your real life
• Focus and screen-time balance without harsh blocking
