iPhone
Your iPhone's own barometer, tracking pressure and its trend — indoors, offline, all day. A calm early hint of change. No accounts, no ads, no subscription.
Apple Weather tells you tomorrow's forecast for your city. Overbaro tells you what your exact location is doing right now — the actual, live atmospheric pressure at your address, remembered for up to 14 days, and read the same way sailors and meteorologists have read weather for centuries: not the number itself, but how fast it's moving.
The reading is a calibrated instrument, not a raw sensor dump — a two-stage filter (fast smoothing for the live number, a robust median for history) keeps the needle calm instead of jittery, and the trend line uses real three-hour tendency categories ("Falling rapidly," "Rising steadily," "Steady") — the same ones used in synoptic weather reporting, not invented labels.
Tap the chart to move between Minutes, Hours and Days; swipe to scroll back through your full history; long-press and drag for the exact value and time under your finger. The solid line is what happened, the dot is now, the dashed line is a short pressure-trend hint — never a forecast, and the disclaimer stays right where the hint appears, not buried further down.
It works in your pocket, indoors, with zero signal — pressure doesn't need open air or a cell connection to reach the sensor — and it's built to recognize the fast, motion-driven spikes an elevator or a car ride cause, so a lift to the 10th floor never fakes a "storm approaching" reading. Once opened, Overbaro keeps taking brief background pressure readings automatically (light on battery — short checks, not continuous sensing); turn that off anytime in Settings.
Add the widget to your Home Screen, and separately to StandBy if you want it there too. Full landscape layout on iPhone.
No accounts. No servers. No analytics. No ads. An optional, off-by-default location check (coarse, on-device only, never continuous GPS, never transmitted) can be enabled in Settings to keep history from mixing readings taken in a different place — nothing else about location, ever. Built only with Apple's own frameworks: Core Motion, WidgetKit, StandBy. Pay once, own it — that's the whole model, and this is a companion to your weather app, never a replacement, and never a substitute for official severe-weather warnings.
