TripDays turns a trip into one shared plan: a day-by-day itinerary, a live map, shared photos, a packing checklist, and a fair split of every expense, kept in sync with the people you travel with.
—— PLAN DAY BY DAY ——
Lay out each day on a timeline: flights, trains, lodging, food, hikes, activities, and more, each with its own details, booking status, and reminders. Not sure when? Park plans on the Ideas board and drop them onto a day later. Reorder with a drag, move plans across days, and add several in a row without leaving the keyboard.
Staying somewhere for months rather than days? Mark it as a home base: it keeps move-in and move-out dates instead of a trip range, and everyday plans live on a month calendar.

Paste a link from your favorite travel sites (booking confirmations, map pins, trails, tours, rentals) and TripDays fills in the plan: name, type, exact location, and details. Paste a whole travel note and the optional AI import turns it into complete trips for you to review, or folds it into an existing trip without duplicates. AI import runs only when you ask, using your own Google Gemini key.

Invite companions to plan with you and friends to follow along. Everyone sees the same trip, and every change reaches the whole group. Traveling with someone who skips apps? Add them as a ghost traveler so their share of costs still counts.
—— SPLIT EXPENSES FAIRLY ——
Log expenses in any currency and split them equally, exactly, or by percentage, with personal spending kept separate from shared costs. Attach receipts, see what everyone paid and owes at a glance, then settle up and share a recap of who pays whom.
—— SEE THE WHOLE TRIP ——
Every trip on one map, day-by-day routes, and national park boundaries for park days. Photos organize themselves by day. A widget counts down to your next trip and lists today's plans, reminders nudge you before each one, and the itinerary exports straight to your calendar.

No accounts and no tracking. Your trips live on your device, sync through your own iCloud when you turn sync on, and back up to a file you keep. Works offline wherever the trip takes you.

HOME BASES
• The month calendar stays pinned while every day's plans scroll below it as one timeline: drag plans between days, swipe to flip months, tap the month title to jump to any date, and come back with Today
DRAG AND DROP
• Plans, spots, and hotel check-in and check-out banners all land where you drop them, the last position of a day included
SMARTER LINK PASTE
• Google Maps links fill in the place's category and rating and land exact pins, cross-checked against the address so a wrong-city pin is skipped rather than guessed
• A place shared from a device that writes addresses country first takes the place's name, not its country's
IMPROVEMENTS
• An AI note merged into an existing trip keeps every stop under a city heading as its own plan, and one note split into several trips gives each its own destinations
• On Mac, exporting a backup opens the save panel, so backups land right in Finder
• If a trip ever appears twice, a one-tap repair in Settings merges the copies back into one
