Notes on every recording: lyrics, chords, capo or gear. Add a time and tap it to play from that moment; times show as marks on the waveform. Search finds words in notes, library rows show a note's first line, and notes sync between iPhone and iPad. Music Dawn also opens using far less memory when your library is large. Turn on Loud room in Capture when you record a loud piano or a band, so the loudest parts don't distort.

Settings rows no longer show through the version line while you scroll.

Music Dawn 1.2 makes it easier to listen to your ideas, with the new mini player. Play a folder in order or shuffle it. The mini player keeps playing while you move around the app, and skips to the previous or next song. Recording and playback carry on with the screen locked or in another app. Control playback from the Lock Screen and Control Center, where each song shows its own Dawn landscape. Favorite the ideas you love while you listen, even from the Lock Screen. Music Dawn is now in German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Swedish and Japanese. Pick one in Settings > Language. Pausing now silences every effect, Delay and Reverb included.

Music Dawn 1.1.1 makes a few everyday things easier. Cancel a recording and Music Dawn pauses and asks before throwing it away. Folders you made now sit under My folders. Swipe one to rename or delete it, or right-click it on iPad and Mac. Ideas is now a folder like any other. Effects and presets are listed A to Z, and dialogs open more calmly.

Music Dawn 1.1 gives every take a finished sound. Every recording now plays through EQ, a compressor, a plate reverb, and Master, free. Master sets the level, so a shared take sits next to the songs in your library. Every effect is new, tuned on real phone recordings of voice, guitar, and piano. Pro adds Clean, which takes background noise out of a take, presets for vocals, piano, and songs, and every other effect, from Tube and Tape to Bitcrusher, Chorus, and five reverb spaces. Takes record in 24-bit lossless. A new waveform with a full screen view, a dark look, and a new app icon. Shared files keep the last moment of every take and the whole reverb tail.
