Ttorolu: Night Maze Walk
No mid-game ads. Any position.
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Once you set out, the journey carries you on. Lie back or lean over and tilt your screen. A warm maze game: walk tangled hills with a friend and relight their lanterns.
The night is deep. The wind is calm, and lanterns light up one by one.
Like "Arirang", Korea's beloved old song about crossing the hills, this is a journey over the night pass with a single lantern in hand.
Just tilt your phone, in whatever position feels comfortable. Nothing gets in the way of your walk.
Long ago, everyone crossed these hills on foot. On every hill there were friends who welcomed the travelers, and as footsteps passed, the light gathered until the welcoming lantern of each city shone bright. But as the footsteps slowly stopped coming, the unwalked paths tangled into mazes, and the cities' welcoming lanterns lost their light one by one.
Step into a city and you meet its friend, then set out together. The character rolling through the maze is that very friend. Walk all ten bends and relight the city's welcoming lantern, and its warm glow reaches the neighboring hills.
Ttorolu is a cozy maze game to keep you company at the end of the day. There are no scores and no rankings. Just you, one city friend, and a quiet night trail.
Gently tilt your phone (or drag with a finger), and the city's friend rolls through winding alleys of mazes themed after Korean cities. From Jeju to Ulleungdo, every city has a friend and a maze shape of its own: the stone dol hareubang of Jeju, the turtle ship of Yeosu, Seoul's Gwanghwamun Gate, and more.
NOTHING INTERRUPTS, IN ANY POSITION
• No full-screen ads between stages, and no banners covering the screen. Nothing stands between you and the walk.
• Ads appear only when you ask for one, to refill an item. You can finish every city without watching a single one.
• Start from whatever position you are already in. "Fit to My Position" takes the angle you are holding right now as its center.
• Lying down, leaning back, on your side — all of it works. It measures a tilt that feels easy and sets the sensitivity for you.
• If tilting is hard, switch to touch mode. Drag anywhere on the screen and the marble rolls that way.
• You can walk offline, with no connection needed.
HOW TO PLAY
• Tilt your phone, or switch to touch mode. Pick whichever feels comfortable.
• Your lantern light burns down as time passes. Reach the gate before it goes out.
• The gate light glowing far in the distance shows you which way to go.
• At a confusing fork, a firefly comes over and lights the way.
• Wandered too long? Unwind a skein of silk thread, and the path to the gate appears for a moment.
• If your lantern goes out, a drop of oil lets you walk on from right where you stand.
• Every region has mischief of its own. Shake off the gull droppings by the sea, and wipe the mountain mist away with your finger.
• Meet a tiger on the pass and it says, "give me one rice cake and I won't eat you." Hand one over and it steps aside.
FEATURES
• From Jeju to Ulleungdo, every maze is shaped from its city's silhouette. Ten mazes per city, and new places are still being added.
• Step into a city and you meet its friend, then walk the ten bends together.
• Finish a city and your friend relights its welcoming lantern. That glow opens the way to the neighboring hills.
• Today's Walk brings a new maze every day, and it is always free.
• A keepsake card arrives for every city you finish. Share it with your friends or on Instagram.
• Night music shifts with the region you are walking through.
• There are 19 achievements, with your night walks recorded in Game Center.
• iCloud sync lets you start on your iPhone and keep walking on your iPad.
• Full VoiceOver support, plus Distant Lighthouse — a round played entirely by ear.
• Available in English, Korean, and Indonesian.
Ttorolu was made for the quiet close of your day.
May your walk tonight be warm and easy.

[New content and features]
· Locked cities now answer, and you can step in right away
- Tap a locked city and it tells you, right there, why the road is still closed and what will open it.
- Spend Yeopjeon and you can walk into that city instead of waiting your turn. One invitation at a time.
· Today's walk and Jangseong Mugunghwa Park
- The mugunghwa that used to bloom on the map after each walk now have a place of their own.
- Setting out on a walk and looking over the flowers you grew both happen in Jangseong Mugunghwa Park now.
- One new variety of mugunghwa opens for every three nights you walk.
· You can see the cost before you step into a maze
- The signpost on the trail and the card at the end of a level show the one Heart it takes.
- When you have none left, the time until your next Heart arrives stands in its place.
· The gate at the end of a maze truly opens
- Both leaves swing aside, and the light beyond spills through.
· Two new cities: Sangju and Incheon
- Sangju, where bicycles roll along the paddy paths after dark, and Incheon, where the Ganghwa dolmens raised five thousand years ago are standing yet.
- Two new friends who keep those cities are waiting for you as well.
[Bug fix]
· Fixed a case where stepping away during the opening flyover and coming back cost you a Heart.
