Bike Assistant tracks every part on every bike by the kilometer, by riding hours, or by charge cycles, so you know what's worn, what's due next, and what can wait. No spreadsheet, no guessing, no "I think I changed that in spring".
You need a Strava account. Your bikes and rides come in from Strava, and that is the only way in. Without it there is nothing here for the app to show you. Create a bike in Strava and it lands here with its rides and distances. From then on every kilometer flows onto the parts you put on it.
HOW IT WORKS
Connect Strava, and your bikes and rides import themselves.
Add the parts you care about. Start typing a brand and we suggest one. A custom part can count riding hours instead of kilometers.
Get a nudge before something is due, instead of after it's ruined.
YOUR WHOLE FLEET ON ONE SCREEN
See at a glance which bike is dialled in, which one could use some love, and what service is coming up. Open a bike for every component on it, its mileage, and how much life it has left. Notes live on the bike too: tire pressures, fit numbers, what the workshop said.
CHAIN WAX, TRACKED PROPERLY
Log wax cycles or drip top-ups. See the kilometers since the last wax, get reminded when the next one is due, and keep a complete wax history per chain. Waxing a whole batch at once? Record the batch in one go. And running several chains in rotation on the same bike is the normal case here, not an edge case.
BATTERIES, THE SAME WAY
Di2, AXS and power-meter batteries are parts like any other. Log a charge, watch the count, and see it beside your chains. The reminder speaks hours until the next one.
THE RIGHT BIKE ON A RIDE
Picked the wrong bike when you headed out? Change it in the Activity Log. We update it on Strava too, so the kilometers land on the right bike and the right parts.
PARTS THAT KNOW THEIR OWN AGE
Chains, cassettes, chainrings, cranksets, bottom brackets, brake pads, tyres, batteries: each with brand, expected life and a wear status that updates itself as you ride. Custom parts can count riding hours instead of kilometers. Move a part to another bike, retire it, or bring an old one back into service. The mileage follows the part, not the bike.
TUBELESS SEALANT ON THE CALENDAR
Sealant doesn't dry out by distance, it dries out by time. Set a refill interval in days per tyre, record fresh sealant or a top-up, and let the app keep the clock. It keeps counting while the bike hangs in the cellar.
TWO-TAP SERVICE LOG
Quick Service logs a wax, a sealant top-up, a chain swap or a battery charge from anywhere in the app. Backdating is expected, not an afterthought: you did the work in the garage, you log it on the sofa.
REMINDERS THAT ARRIVE IN TIME
Push notifications when a chain needs waxing, when a service comes due, or when a part reaches the end of its expected life. Everything also lands in an in-app inbox, so nothing is lost behind a dismissed banner.
SIGN IN WITHOUT A PASSWORD
Enter your email, get a code, you're in. No password to invent, none to forget. The account carries over to app.bike-assistant.com if you ever want to sort out your parts on a big screen.
WHAT BIKE ASSISTANT IS NOT
No training analysis, no power curves, no social feed, no leaderboards. Your data is only ever shown to you. This app is about the bike, not the ride.
WHAT YOU NEED
A Strava account, and the free tier is fine. Your bikes and rides come in from Strava, and that is the only way in. Bike Assistant reads your bikes and rides. If you move a ride to another bike here, we update that activity's bike on Strava. We never post to your feed and never create activities.

Ratings & Reviews
With your permission, the app can now record how you use it, so when something breaks we can see what you saw. Anything you type and all images stay hidden, and you can switch it off any time in Settings › Privacy. If you already allowed analytics, the app asks you once more.
Fix: Connecting Strava no longer gets stuck on a "Page could not be found" screen, when sign-in with google or Apple is used.
