Turn scattered lines, chord ideas, and melody fragments into something you can perform.
Versh is a focused songwriting notebook built around the way songs actually take shape. Draft lyrics in clear sections, find the right rhyme without leaving the editor, place chords exactly where they belong, record melody ideas, and keep every part of your work together.
Write without friction
• Build songs from verses, choruses, bridges, hooks, intros, outros, and custom sections
• Move between sections while keeping the keyboard open
• Use persistent undo and redo across app restarts
• Save alternate versions of individual lines or complete passages
• Organize your library with custom projects, tags, colors, and icons
Find better words
• Get phonetic rhyme suggestions directly inside the editor
• Switch between rhyme and synonym suggestions for the selected word
• Choose a word from the current or previous line as your rhyme target
• Add a suggestion or replace the current word
• Long-press a suggestion to look up its meaning
• Keep writing while the movable word-help panel stays open
Write in your language
• Use the complete Versh interface in 20 supported languages
• Set a default writing language or choose a different one for each song
• Download offline packs for rhymes, synonyms, and word meanings
Add chords your way
• Place chords above lyrics at any position
• Browse guitar and piano chord diagrams and hear them by tapping
• Find a chord by selecting notes on a guitar fretboard or piano keyboard
• Preserve the exact chord voicing you choose
• Use custom guitar tunings, capo settings, and chord transposition
Create guitar tabs and notation
• Build tablature by tapping strings and frets
• Add rests, note lengths, hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, bends, and more
• Switch between guitar tabs and standard notation
• Play passages back with realistic instrument sounds
• Import six-string ASCII tablature from text, PDFs, files, or photos
Capture every melody
• Record voice and melody ideas for an entire song or a specific section
• Import existing audio takes from the system file picker
• Keep multiple takes beside the words they belong to
• Pause, resume, restart, rename, and seek through recordings
Rehearse and share
• Rehearse hands-free with adjustable autoscroll
• See chords and tablature clearly while rehearsing
• Record a complete song take while autoscroll moves through your draft
• Export as plain text, PDF chord sheets, or ChordPro
• Share through other apps or save with the system file picker
