Ride is a horse riding tracker for trail riders: it records your trail rides with no cell service and the phone locked, shows you trails other riders have ridden, and lets you ride with friends who ride. It also keeps your horse's care, health records and reminders in one place. Works for Western and English riders.
TRAIL RIDES
• Tap Start Trail Ride and Ride records your route with GPS, with live distance and pace, even with no cell service and your phone locked
• See each ride's route on a map, and add up to 3 photos
• The start and end of every route are trimmed so your barn stays private
• Choose public or private for each ride, and share a ride as an image or a link
• Log a ride after the fact, or backdate one you forgot
FIND TRAILS
• The Trails tab maps public trail rides from other riders
• Open a trail for its details and rider answers on difficulty, whether it is horse-legal, and trailer parking
• With Ride Pro, save trails you want to ride, rename them, and follow a saved trail while you record, with its line on your live map. Saved trails work offline
RIDE WITH FRIENDS
• Follow riders you know, and give kudos and comments on their rides
• Meetups: Ride Pro riders can host a trail-ride meetup, public or invite-only. Any rider can find meetups on the map and join for free, with group chat, invites and notifications
HORSE CARE
• A profile for every horse: breed, year, discipline and photo
• Track farrier, supplements, vaccines and injections with due dates and reminders
• Set training and fitness goals for each horse, and keep your shows on a calendar
• See weekly ride-time charts, your streak and your hours in the saddle
ARENA TOOLS
• Save routines and run them as a live timed session, with a time for every maneuver. GPS is only used for trail rides you start
PRIVACY
No ads, no analytics trackers, and we never sell your data. Location is used only during a Trail Ride you start. Your route stays on your phone if you choose Hide map. Sign in with Apple, and delete your account and all its data from the app. Purchases are processed by Apple and our subscription provider, RevenueCat.
FREE AND RIDE PRO
Free: recording and logging rides (also with no signal), your full ride history, stats, the feed, following riders, 1 horse, 1 saved routine, 3 months of charts, viewing the Trails map near you, and joining meetups.
Ride Pro: opening trails and searching any area, saving and following trails, hosting meetups, unlimited horses and routines, and charts over 1 year and all time.
Ride Pro is $5.99 per month or $29.99 per year (US prices; other regions vary), with a 1-month free trial for eligible new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase, or when the trial ends. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple account settings.
