A paid Konvo subscription is required to access Instagram DMs through the app. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial.
Sign in with your Instagram account and Konvo opens straight to your inbox. The feed, Reels, and Explore never load. Your chats are exactly as you left them, and everything you send and receive shows up in Instagram like normal, because it is Instagram, just only the part you actually need.
WHAT KONVO DOES

- Your DMs, group chats, message requests, and story replies all work
- You sign in on instagram.com inside the app. Konvo never sees or stores your password
BLOCK THE REAL INSTAGRAM, IF YOU WANT
Connect Konvo to Screen Time and the Instagram app itself gets blocked behind a shield. Your messages stay one tap away in Konvo. You get two passes a day, one for five minutes and one for a single minute, to unlock Instagram for the things that need the real app: posting a story, a picture, or calling someone. When the pass ends, Instagram locks itself again. The block is optional and you can turn it off whenever you want.
WHAT KONVO DOES NOT DO:
Konvo does not read, store, or transmit your messages. It collects basic usage analytics, such as which setup screens are reached and whether features work, to improve the app.
Konvo requires an Instagram account. Konvo is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.
