Palm Sudoku 1985 isn't a sudoku app with a retro skin — it plays different. Drop into ARCADE MODE and chase a real score: three lives, combo multipliers, speed bonuses, and a classic three-initial high-score board with weekly and all-time rankings. Or take it slow in Classic mode with mistake feedback and a fresh free game every day.
A boombox lives inside the game. Open JAMS to stream five licensed 1980s radio stations — Awesome 80s, Lite 80s, 80s Hairband, 80s R&B, and Yacht Rock (music kindly provided by 181.fm) — with a cassette deck spinning right on your game screen.
Every detail is period-correct: the "Daybreak Miami" sunrise theme and monochrome dark mode, an optional CRT scanline effect, chunky pixel numerals, an arcade boot sequence, and a fully original chiptune soundtrack of blips, stings, and fanfares — synthesized, never sampled.
