Gomoku Narabe is the classic five in a row board game - beautifully simple, endlessly deep. Place a stone. Build a line. Get five in a row before your opponent does. FIVE RULESETS - Standard (freestyle) gomoku - Renju - forbidden moves for Black - Caro - a winning line must be open at both ends - Omok (Korean) - an overline does not count - Ninuki - sandwich a pair to capture it; five captures wins PLAY HOW YOU LIKE - A daily challenge - one position, one attempt, timed, with streaks and leaderboards - Offline against the computer, from Beginner to Master - Pass and play on a single device - Online with friends - invite by friend code, take turns at your own pace, chat and react - Ranked matchmaking on a kyu/dan ladder, with Swap2 tournament openings MORE THAN A BOARD - Every move is scored: open threes, forks, blocks and sustained initiative all earn points - Post-game review replays the turning points and the points you left on the table - Eight tracks of guided lessons, taught on the board with positions to solve - Build your own avatar and earn adornments as you climb the ranks - 9x9, 13x13, 15x15 and 19x19 boards - Light and dark themes, eleven languages - Twelve boards to play on, from paper and marble to neon and a starfield Free to play, with ads. One optional purchase - Gomoku Pro - removes them and unlocks game review, the lesson library, the daily leaderboards, the board themes and the avatar builder. No account is needed to play offline or pass and play.
